Beautiful beach home

  • 5 of 5

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Hart Haven. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves and liked that we could take long walks. The Harts are very pleasant and made our stay one of the best summer vacations yet.

Wonderful holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

Staying in your lovely home is like coming to stay in a “family” home. All the things used at home are here – blankets to wrap up in, condiments in the refrigerator, full size bottles of shampoo and lotions, games and puzzles, lots of seating inside and out. We felt at home immediately.

We loved the unusual architecture – with the two master suites each with private stairs, and the almost circular staircase leading to the ground level. The decor is lovely – bright and colorful with so many pretty decorating touches.

We enjoyed the beach and tram. We went for walks on the beach, collected some interesting rocks and shells, and waded in the water of lake Michigan.

Your beach home is charming. We loved everything about it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful home, great location

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home right on Lake Michigan. We loved the tram down to the beach, great beach walking. Nice, short drive into South Haven. Not far from Saugatuck. Very nicely furnished home, ample towels and linens, very comfortable with plenty of places inside and out to relax.

The perfect waterfront vacation.

  • 5 of 5

My family was lucky enough to stay here for a week. The house was incredibly charming and immaculate. Attention had been given to every room in the house. The location was perfect, situated minutes from the cute little town of South Haven and under 30 minutes to the hipster town of Saugatuck. The house has a large yard which makes it feel private while providing space for outdoor activities. The house's relationship to the lake is unique. While you can't walk right out onto a beach, my family thought it was even better to sit on the deck and look over the bluff down to the water. The tram made getting down to the water easy for even my elderly parents. The owners of the house were really great and were helpful at every step of planning our trip. It is hard to come up with anything negative to say about our vacation here....the third bedroom is small but still cozy. We would definitely return here. FYI... We ate at Salt of the Earth, Tello, Mermaid, and Hawskhead and would recommend all. Also, the paddle boat tour down the Kalamazoo River was definitely worthwhile.

The hot tub was perfect for the chilly nights. The views from the home are gorgeous. The beds are comfortable. Wonderful Home & Fantastic View

  • 5 of 5

The home is wonderful in all respects. It is clean, charming and well equipped. The view of Lake Michigan is unbelievable and the beach which can be accessed from stairs or a tram is lovely with wide sandy beaches and few people. The owners were very accommodating and easy to reach for questions and help with planning our trip. You can tell this house is full of love! I would rent it again in a second. It is everything promised and more.
