The cabin was very comfortable for 9 people (6 adults and 3 kids) and had everything we needed. The hottub was wonderful, great view and the little store/visitor center in the resort was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We rented fishing poles and the kids really enjoyed time a the pond one afternoon.
It would be a perfect place to rent if you want to be isolated and not leave the property (or if you are a horseman and want to ride trails for a week), but the only reason we wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it is a long way from restaurants and attractions. It was an hour to hour and a half to get to any of the places we wanted to visit. We had searched for the Boone area where this was listed, but although it is less than 30 miles, the road in isn't great and it is a long drive in and out.
