The Tomahawk Lodge is a large, comfortable, in-town, 5200+ square foot home in the Warriors Mark Area of Breckenridge. Located in a pretty residential location and nestled among Pine & Aspen trees, the neighborhood is quiet but within easy reach of the ski lifts on the Free town shuttle which picks up nearby. It is a pleasant and easy 15 minute stroll to Main Street and Downtown Breckenridge, or just a 2-3 minute drive.

Tomahawk is a large, spacious and comfortable family home, with excellent leisure facilities, that has been finished with wood detail and abounds with Native American, South Western and Colorado Style Art. The home boasts a lounge/great room with a 42' LCD TV, formal dining for up to 20 and three well equipped kitchens, one with granite counter tops. The fabulous leisure facilities include: a private outdoor hot tub, sauna, pool table, Hi speed Wireless internet access; ping pong and Foosball tables, Dart Board, a big selection of board games, books, and DVDs, plus a gaming table with Roulette, Poker, Blackjack and Craps .

There is a two Car Garage with parking for up to another 8-10 vehicles in the driveways, a good sized fenced yard and several large Sunny Decks with Gas Grill and Patio furniture. (summer)

Large Sunny deck with both interior and exterior access for added privacy.

Small Loft room with single raised bed.(please note this room is fully enclosed with a door, but does not have a window) and is located next to the Lodge Suite

Queen Aspen Log bed with additional day bed and trundle. LCD TV/DVD. Private Bath/Shower, twin vanity sinks and WC (across hallway).

Room 6: *The 'Buffalo' Twin Room* -

2 Single beds, LCD TV, VCR, en-suite Bath/Shower, twin vanity sinks and WC.

Room 7/7A: *The 'Romance' Master Suite* -

Stunning 2 bedroom luxury Master Suite with King bed, cathedral ceilings, 2 Decks, walk in closet, LCD TV, separate bedroom with single day bed. En-suite, luxurious marble bathroom with over sized jacuzzi tub, WC, twin vanity sinks and separate, large 2 person shower.

In total there are 9 separate sleeping areas. Rooms 1-4 + Loft are on the left hand side (A) and rooms 5-7 are on the right side of the house (B). Both sides of the home are fully connected internally thru the main great room level.

Please note the home is located in a quiet residential family neighborhood with a strictly enforced noise ordinance between 10pm and 8am.

For this reason on site parties are not permitted at any time and we cannot accept bachelor, bachelorette or similar groups.

Outstanding Experience at Tomahawk Lodge

Overall experience was excellent. The Tomahawk Lodge was the perfect venue for our family reunion. Everything was clean and in good working order, including hot tub, pool table, game room, outdoor grill, and cable TV. The lodging was very spacious. All the amenities of home, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms, made the stay very comfortable. The abundance of bedding and linens was greatly appreciated. The literature on Colorado and the local area came in very handy. The proximity to town and Boreas pass was very convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house suited the needs of the adults and young children nearly perfectly. I highly recommend Tomahawk Lodge for large groups. The value is unmatched by any traditional hotel or condo or resort. I would return to Tomahawk Lodge without hesitation.

Big home, quiet location.

The house is big and close to town. In a VERY quiet residential area. Price is great and site contact is friendly.

If you are looking for a location where neighbors complain about noise during the day and call the police at night, this place is not for you. Our crew didn't go outside at night because of the chilly temps, and neighbors were still calling on us.

This home met all of our expectations!!! Plenty of room for 14 people that stayed at Tomahawk lodge! Such a fun home will all the different levels and rooms! Close enough to town to get a good walk in or run and close to trails! Sandra was a awesome host!

Wonderful for a family vacation for 14 people!

This is a large, comfortable house with seven bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. Our four grown children with their spouses and some of their children were comfortably accommodated and had private bathrooms. The kitchens were exceptionally well stocked, and the dining area seated all of us so we could have family dinners. There was an abundant supply of board games, a pool table, and a ping pong table. Everyone in our group loved it! Sandra Slights was a delight to work with. We had no problems whatsoever.

Large Roomy Home

This is a large home with lots of room. As with any home there are quirks. The game room was a converted garage, but was a nice touch and was used often. The appliances were dated, but you get that with older homes. All in all it was a pleasant stay for 5 families.

We are gradually switching out the appliances in both Kitchens for new models and only last week, installed a new dishwasher. Recently too, we have replaced one of the refrigerators, the Wine Fridge and the stove top. Next on the list and currently on order, is a new wall Oven/Micro combo unit in the main kitchen, which we hope to install before the end of the month. Very Run Down House

If you are looking for an upscale house - this is NOT it - the pictures are deceiving. It is a house that can hold a lot of people for sure but that is it and is need of many many repairs and upgrades. The bathroom my son and I used had hair and mold along the floor edges, the dishwasher would not open so the owner told us to pry it open each time, the beds were sinking in the middle, the bedspreads and throw pillows smelled and looked like they had not been cleaned for ages and the back yard/deck area looked like no one had touched it in years - overgrown and in disrepair, the doors to the washer and dryer are broken and off the track and stick out so it is difficult to pass through the hallway and the microwave door is difficult to open. These are just a few out of many maintenance issues with the house. The owner has a book in the house that basically says "we know things are broken", but is not going to fix them at the moment and that guests should add to the list of what they already know.? Also the bedroom window on the main level does not open because it is against code - a child easily fall out of if it could open - so it is very hot in this room during the summer and stifling because there is no fresh air. Once again if you are just looking for a big place to accommodate a lot of people, then this is fine, but do not expect anything upscale at all.

Owner's Response: We were very sorry & sad to hear of your dissatisfaction with your recent stay at the Tomahawk Lodge & apologize that it did not meet your groups expectations. During the 11 years, that we have owned and managed our property, all of our other reviews and over 200 guest book comments have all been very positive. We have many repeat guests year after year and are always looking for ways to make improvements and upgrades to our home from constructive comments or new ideas. In the past 2 years, we have installed new carpet, a cook top, Refrigerator, washer, dryer, Wine Fridge, BBQ Grill, flat Screen TVs and this week installed a new dishwasher. The laundry doors are not broken and the beds do not sag . Soft furnishings such as towels,linens & pillows - are regularly replaced with new items and basic property maintenance is carried out as needed after every guest stay. Preventative maintenance and improvement projects, as well as a full deep clean, are also done in the spring and fall when time allows. In such a large property things can and do break down or go wrong and we do our utmost to make sure these are addressed and replaced or repaired as soon as we can, especially if they are likely to have an impact on our guests’ enjoyment. Some issues can take a little time to resolve, as we source and wait for replacement parts or items to arrive and be installed. We do ask our guests, if they find something that needs attention to please let us know, as we are not always able to identify issues quickly in such a large home. The ‘book’ is a property information file, where there is a list of just 4 minor issues we are aware of and that we are working to fix. We have an excellent Housekeeping team and have received many positive comments on the cleanliness. As owners, we live close to the property & personally inspect the home once cleaned, to make sure our high standards are upheld and are always on hand to help if needed. The home was professionally photographed last fall and the photos are representative of the property, To our knowledge, they have not been edited in anyway. Our aim is to ensure all our guests have a fun stay in a spacious, well-equipped, clean & comfortable home, in a great location, that offers good value for money. Our prices are among the lowest in town for a home that can accommodate more than 20 people and our property one of the best equipped in in the vacation rental world! This comes from comments made by many happy guests.
