Perfect Cabin in the Heart of Michigan
When we first arrived at George's Retreat I was already excited about the location!! The house was tucked nicely behind some trees overlooking a field on a dead end small dirt street in the back of a tiny village. Our lab loved exploring the clean cut path leading to a hilltop across from the cabin. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed during our stay. After having breakfast in the quaint, yet roomy kitchen we would venture out to explore all the wonderful things we love about Michigan including a visit to the Iron Fish, a distillery just a short drive away. We enjoyed dinner at the cabin in the evenings while sitting on the deck and found it quite relaxing to build a fire to hang out by before going to bed. The nights were super quiet and we slept well. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wanted to share their vacation with their pet as we like to do. Jackson, our lab, felt very comfortable here! There is a small market across the highway which is well stocked with everything you would need as well as the Bear Claw Cafe which is super cute and quite yummy!! We really enjoyed our stay! Would love to return next summer. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WONDERFUL CABIN WITH US!!!
Thank you traci, We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Nice little cottage. Like staying at a friends house who are out of town. Really liked the gas stove, a nice touch. Owner's are very easy to access and helpful.
Great little place, close to Crystal Mt. Right in the town of Copemish but has a nice "out of town" feel. Sauna is a nice touch.
Didn’t expect it to be in a neighborhood, but it worked out fine. Comfy stay...
The property was great but there was no dog run in the yard as we hoped. We are avid hikers and the property allowed us easy access to all of the hiking trails within the most of a 30 minute drive. This was our first visit to this side of the state but we will definitely be visiting again. We including the dog had a great time.
Perfect place to get away and relax and recharge!
