Beautiful

The condo was beautiful. Very welcoming and comfortable. I promise, you will love the bedding! The owners have done a fantastic job in making the stay comfortable and easy. Everything you need is provided! Would suggest bringing a couple extra light bulbs and at least one dish cloth though. These are not provided and a couple lamps would not work due to light bulbs blown. Parking is difficult if more than one vehicle is with your party. Lot always full. The management company is less to be desired. The first thing we had to do was unload a dishwasher full of dishes. They have signs posted everywhere (bathroom mirrors even) reminding you of all the extra charges that will be inflicted on you if you forget to do something. Leave any garbage $50.00, miss collecting and bagging any linen $10.00, forget to start the dishwasher $10.00, floors " to dirty" extra charge, leave any food in fridge $10.00, etc. It was very annoying. One or two postings would be sufficient. The early evening before we were to depart two huge bags of clean linen and towels were left right outside our door to step over. Again, very annoying. If it were not for property managers I would give this 5+ stars.

Awesome Place!

We loved this condo, and plan to stay here each time we visit Folly! You can't beat the location- beach access with a wonderful view of the ocean, and walking distance to restaurants and bars! While parking would be tight for a full-size SUV, van or truck underneath the building, there is plenty of parking behind.The elevator was working, so loading and unloading was a breeze! We enjoyed being on the top floor with no noise from a unit above. We definitely recommend this condo!

Great Location with Beautiful Views

My family and I stayed in this condo over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We all enjoyed the views from the porch. Walks to the beach and town center were easy because of the great location. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, etc. and they even provided an aluminum turkey roasting pan!

A lot of steps

We traveled to Folly Beach at one of the worst times as the flooding in Charleston began on Wednesday. We had no issues arriving at Seacoast #7, but the road in front of the condo was flooded, we entered from the back so that was not an issue. What is an issue is the small parking places. It is a very awkward, small place to get into and parking a large SUV would definitely be a problem. On Friday morning we knew that the weather was going to continue to deteriorate, as Jim Cantore was in Charleston announcing how the flooding would continue through the weekend. We obviously were not interested in having our car flooded, and not being able to be on the beach was not the type vacation we had planned. We lost our payment - it was understood in the contract that they would not refund for inclement weather, and we did not get travel insurance. Our biggest complaint with the condo was the elevator. We did not have use of the elevator as it was out of order the short time we were there. There were signs to not push the button three times as it would quit working. We don't know for sure, but we think this elevator is out of order quite often. We have rented many places on Folly Beach and it has always been a great experience. But advertising an elevator and knowing that you would have it to use when carrying luggage and food upstairs was one of the reasons we rented it. Our friend who was renting with us has a heart condition and had to climb four steep levels of steps. It was really going to restrict us as he could not climb up and down the steps two or three times a day. Anyone renting these condos should be aware that the elevator may not be working and the climb up the steps is difficult.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry about the elevator, some things are beyond our control - Unfortunately, it broke down during a natural flood disaster - There was a major part that needed to be replaced and could not until the part arrived - Since the roads were closed the part took longer than normal - The elevator has been fixed and is back working with no issues - We are sorry for that inconvenience but we are glad the only issue was something that was taken care of - We hope we can host you again in the future -
