Kailani Beach House was an ideal location for the perfect Hawaiian vacation. The house is luxurious and comfortable and has everything you need, including the beach in your backyard! The views are spectacular especially at sunrise. The town of Kailua is small enough to feel quaint but big enough to have nice shops and restaurants. Our group of nine adults loved it!
This is the perfect Lanikai beachfront home! It is right on the best part of Lanikai beach where you can watch the sunrise; yet the yard is very private with plenty of grass and two outdoor, warm-water showers.
The house is stunningly beautiful with a very relaxed feel. There are several sitting areas, so many that it is hard to use them all. The kitchen is clean, organized and nicely stocked, including spices. There is a huge table in the dining area that seats 10 and another in the bar area. There is lots of outdoor seating.
Each bedroom has ensuite bathroom and its own air-conditioning unit. The huge master bedroom downstairs does not have air conditioning, but there are plenty of windows, fans and a cross breeze.
There was a very nice welcome basket full of island fruit. The manager arrived promptly to show us around the property and was available for questions.
Kailua town is right down the street where we rented paddle boards and a kayak. Everything else we needed came with the house, including chairs, towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc.
Boots and Kimo's in Kailua is a great place for breakfast, but we enjoyed the house and beach so much that we didn't want to leave.
I will be back. This is a lovely home and location.
This was our second stay at the Kailani Beach House and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The management was responsive to any questions or requests that we had. There were some beach toys for us to use. The grill had plenty of propane. Amazing location!
Staying in the Don Ho house for two weeks the summer of 2011 was a fabulous experience! This was our first family vacation and we had a blast. The house was perfect for the 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 kids. Claudia and Carrie took such good care of everything for us and were always available to answer any questions. When we arrived at the house all we had to do was race to the beautiful beach. We did spend time sightseeing but everyone agreed that we could have just hung out at the house the entire two weeks. We honestly did not want to leave. We are definitely planning to return to Hawaii and will stay at the Don Ho House! It was just perfect!
