Cozy Incline Cabin with Large Deck, Great Location

Bedrooms 2
Half Baths1
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6), non-smoking

This is a beautiful family cabin with 2 bedrooms, 1 king bed, and 1 queen bed. The additional loft has 2 x-long twins. The sleeping accommodations include 1.5 baths. This quaint cabin is nestled among pine trees and 1.7 miles to Lake Tahoe. This cabin accommodates a max. of 6 people and no smoking. A nearby year-round creek can be heard from the cabin's large relaxing deck. Sitting in the upstairs loft is a great place to relax and view the mountains and the huge pines. In winter, the view is spectacular with snowy peaks and a view of distant ski runs. The best sandy beaches on Lake Tahoe are in Incline Village: Burnt Cedar Beach, Ski Beach and Incline Beach. These private beaches have a boat dock, outdoor pools on the edge of Lake Tahoe, barbecues and eating decks. The famous Sand Harbor Beach, with giant lake boulders, is close by. But why go to the beach when you can barbeque and relax on the cabin's large peaceful and relaxing deck!

Incline Village also has wonderful hiking and biking paths, many with beautiful views of the lake. Incline has two great golf courses just a mile from the cabin. If you are into hiking or cross-country skiing, the Tahoe Rim Trail and the Mt. Rose Meadow is about 10 minutes from the cabin. The best sledding and snow play area around with views of the lake. For gamblers, the Hyatt Casino/Resort is 1 mile down the mountain with the beautiful Lone Eagle Grill overlooking the lake. If you want to visit Reno, 30 minutes down the mountain on the picturesque Mt. Rose Hwy will get you there.

Tahoe is known for its many ski resorts. Diamond Peak is 5 minutes away, Mt. Rose 10 minutes, Northstar 20 minutes, Squaw Valley 35 minutes. After skiing, there are numerous restaurants that you can enjoy a great meal overlooking Lake Tahoe with surrounding mountains. With the cabin's peaceful and beautiful mountain environment, close to Lake Tahoe and the playground of the Sierras, this cabin is a very enjoyable vacation home base.

The basic rate is $180/night with a 2 night minimum. Holiday rates are higher than standard/night rate.

Why Carol chose Lake Tahoe Area

We love Lake Tahoe, the mountains, and all of the close-by skiing, hiking, and kyaking.

What makes this cabin unique

Skiing, boating, hiking, biking, beauty of the beaches and mountains and unbelievable skiing with views of the lake.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for sharing your special cabin with us and our boys. They played in the snow all day. We even found a great sledding spot above 8000 feet on Mt. Rose Hwy. Looking forward to many more family trips like this. Thanks.

Cute, cozy, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here during a recent trip to Incline Village. The cabin was spotless and was perfect for our family of 4. There is a master bedroom downstairs, another bedroom with a queen bed upstairs, and in the loft there is a twin trundle bed. There is also a half bath upstairs. The full bath is downstairs. The cabin came with 3 sleds which we had a great time using. The cabin is close to town and the grocery store and is 5 minutes from Diamond Peak. We had a great time here. It felt like a home away from home. Carol was wonderful to work with. She let us check in early and check out late due to the amount of snow that may have fallen which would have required us to shovel. Turns out there was plenty of snow, but no shoveling on our part was required. The owners typically have it shoveled before the stay, but they happened to be out of town when we arrived. Carol was very generous to offer the early/late check in and out.

Wonderful cozy place to stay

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with my wife and 2 kids age 10 and 7 over the Christmas vacation. Carole was very friendly and very kind and offered us an early check in because of a heavy snow storm that was forecast. When we arrived the place was warm and cozy and very festive with Christmas decorations which we really appreciated and the kids loved especially. We used the place as a base for skiing at nearby Diamond Peak which is a short drive away. The place is very clean, very cosy and has lots of home comforts. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it to cook a great Christmas lunch. The TV has plenty of channels which kept the kids busy at the end of each day on the slopes and the beds were all very comfy so everyone got a good nights sleep. I would definitely stay again.

Charming cabin in a quiet community

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this property and we loved it every bit as much as the first. The cabin is nicely appointed, has everything you need in the kitchen, plus an outdoor grill. It's within short driving distance to Sand Harbor, the prettiest beach in Tahoe (at least we think so!), and to local trails, dining and shopping. The Hyatt resort is nearby and has a beautiful bar and restaurant right on the beach -- perfect for sundowners or a special dinner.
