About Deborah Trout

We are the Trout's and Reece's of Kansas City, Kansas; the Brickman's of St. Louis, Missouri; and the Meyers' of San Francisco, California. We’ve been friends for more years than we’d like to count (the girls go all the way back to high school).

Why Deborah Trout chose Summit County Colorado

We all love Colorado and we love to spend time together so we bought ourselves a condo in beautiful Copper Mountain. Our goal is to fill our vacation home with love and laughter, good friends, good food, and good wine; tall tales of big fish and fresh powder; bumps, bruises, brags and boasts; ice cold beer, championship cribbage and endless rounds of Mexican Train. Most importantly, we plan to make many happy memories here and we hope you will too. We happily open our home to you, please respect it and above all, have a wonderful vacation.

Great Rental

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed the condo very much, everything was exactly as advertised, clean and convenient, close to the center of the village with a nice walk-out to a small patio area to relax on and enjoy the mountain scenery to the rear. Recommend this for anyone coming to Copper. Will definitely try to stay here again.

Robert

Hi, I'm writing this review sitting here at the condo looking at the beautiful mountains right out the back door.My wife and I have been staying here the last four days and are totally enjoying our stay. The condo is just as discribed, very comfortable and well stocked with everything you should need. If you like to hike, the Colorado Trail is only about 200 yards from the back door, and also an easy walk to Copper Mountain central where there are shops and restaurants. We will definitely look to stay in this condo in the future, Deborah was wonderful to work with also. Thank You

Lovely Condo, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We all loved the condo. It was just as described, and we had everything we needed for the week. The condo truly is ski in/ski out with easy access to lift or a short walk to Center Village if preferred. We made ourselves at home and cooked most all of meals there after shopping at the Target in Silverthorne. Deborah was responsive and prompt, allowing us to arrive early.

We will be back!

True ski-in and ski-out within walking distrance to Central Village

  • 5 of 5

Overall, this was a nice unit and we enjoyed our stay. It's a first-floor unit so that helps when you have a lot of ski gear. The bunny lift (take Gem to Pitchfork) is a short walk out the back door and you can literally ski down from the mountain right to the door, which we did most days for lunch. It is very convenient. The hot tub is also a few steps out the sliding glass door. We walked to Central Village numerous times...just a few minutes. Plus, the bus runs regularly between villages, which was nice because we usually ended the ski day at JJ's Tavern in East Village, and hopped the bus back to the condo.

We had 4 guys for our annual ski trip, and we had enough room. The price was very reasonable, and Deb (manager) was always responsive to my emails through the process. I would stay here again if I returned to Copper Mountain. Speaking of which, it was our first time to Copper and we enjoyed it. Minimal lines and plenty of terrain. We drove over to Vail one day and it's a short drive (half hour?) down the highway. Not a whole lot of options at night or for dinner like other resorts or mountain towns, but it was enough.

Great ski in ski out location

Great location at Copper, easy walk up to Skid Row, even easier ski in to the room. Was perfect for two couples, great being able to take our dog with us as well.
