At night the sky is black and you will see more stars than you ever thought imaginable.
'Sabu' is filled with windows, so you can enjoy the view from practically every room in this Gulf front home. Come and enjoy this spacious beach house with only sand and water in front of you. All you need to do when you walk through the door is start having fun
Bright colors greet you as you enter the home. The kitchen with granite countertops is nicely stocked. There is a wet bar with a free standing ice machine to fuel cocktail hour or to fill a cooler for a day on the beach.
The great room features tile flooring, comfy couches and lots of seating for movie watching or just relaxing. Teal, tourquoise and orange colors play up the beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. You have a view of the Gulf from every seat. The TV has a DVD player, digitial music and Internet connectivity for viewing Facebook, You Tube or just browsing the web.

When you enter the suite you have your bath to the left and your king bed to the right. Through the bifold doors is the sitting room with sleeper sofa. About Mary Hoskinson
My name is James and my wife of 16 years is Mary. We live in Dunedin, Florida when we aren't enjoying our beach home at the Cape. We love to travel, particularly in our RV.
Mary Hoskinson purchased this House in 2011
Why Mary Hoskinson chose Port St. Joe
We choose this area to buy our vacation home because is it truely the forgotten coast of Florida. While the rest of Florida's coastline goes wall to wall condos, Cape San Blas remains that small beach community of our childhoods. Port St. Joe and Appalach still have that small town feel where everyone knows and cares about you.

Great place for older children, teens, and adults.
Sabu is ideally located for all Cape activities and jaunts to St. George and Apalachicola. It is part of the Cape Dunes community. It is set back off the beach a little bit so wear your flip flops on the path to avoid the Cape “pokey things”. It was a relaxing break for our family.
Thank you for the kind review and we are happy you enjoyed our home! Come back anytime!
It was awesome. The house was wonderful. We felt like we were at home. It is an amazing area to visit. We are already planning for next year.
We had a wonderful time!
Very relaxing place to stay!
We would stay again!
Love staying on Cape San Blas. Location was great and house accompanied 2 families very well. We had a few plumbing issues when we got to the house but maintenance came the day we called and took care of the issues. If the house or neighborhood had a pool, it would be the perfect spot. We would definitely stay in this house again.
Beautiful views and location!
This property is very EASY and comfortable to stay in. The layout of the house is very well thought out, and worked perfectly for our party of 7. We loved being directly on the beach, and found the deck an enjoyable place to hangout. The grill was put to good use as well! A few things (not deal breakers), but just feedback for the owners: the dishwasher doesn't work very well, and the mattress in the upstairs master is not very comfortable. In addition, tropical storm Cindy visited us for a few days while we were there. We were glad there was a screened-in porch, but realized when sitting out there during the storms, it isn't a "true" screen porch. We had lots of mosquitoes, and rain coming through as well, meaning it is not very well sealed off. This is probably not a big deal when there are no storms (although maybe a bit for the mosquitoes, on just a typical night), but we all thought it would have been nice if the porch was more tightly secured. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. And I appreciated the speedy responses from Mary during our stay, with questions we had on trash/extra towels etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Cape San Blas!
Exactly as advertised
Very nice house that fit our family just right. Inside the house was very comfortable with open spaces and views to the ocean.
