Great time and stay in Asheville!
Cute little cottage in Montford Historic District, walkable distance (20 mins or so?) to downtown Asheville. Or uber it for $6 instead. We walked and ubered most places. Ate at Nine Mile around the corner for dinner one night and was very good. Also ate at Vinnies Neighborhood Italian which was delish! Downtown ate at Tupelo Honey for breakfast, Curate for dinner (book rez way in advance), Wicked Weed for lunch, Mela (Indian) has great lunch buffet but had dinner and was excellent, Christmas buffet at DeerPark in Biltmore Estates and the buffet at Grove Park Inn Blue Ridge also great. Grove Park in also close and was lovely! Harris Teeter and Trader Joe’s close. Biltmore at Christmas time = wow and totally worth it. Was in the 20s-40s while there and the heat worked great in the house for us Floridians! Easy working with Cate. Would def stay here again! First time to Asheville and loved it. Can’t wait to come back!
Very clean home with plenty of room for us. Close to all the places we wanted to go to. Would stay here again!
Cate really does think of everything! She has all of the extras ready for use, including coffee and tea, an iron, pods for laundry, and even shampoo in case you forget your own :) The cottage is adorable and has tons of space. It is a pleasant .5 mile walk to all the shopping and restaurants in downtown Asheville. Super cozy and very clean. My only very small criticism would be the home is a lot older than it appears in the pictures. However, the cottage is located in the historic district and all the homes are older with a lot of charm and character. Cate has done a great job of renovating the cottage and it has a very charming, friendly feel. We would stay here again in a heart beat!!
Great area in Montfort!
Cute cottage. Clean and well appointed. Stayed here for a girlfriends' reunion. Great restaurants nearby. Walk everywhere or Uber for under $6. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Thanks Jo! I'm glad y'all had a good time. So much to do around here! You are welcome to come back any time!
Cute, Clean Cottage
Four of us (two couples) stayed in Cate's Cottage for 4 nights. Checking in was super easy and the place was clean and comfortable. She had the air conditioning running for us which was a relief because it was a hot day in June. Most night we walked down town and it was about .8 miles to the center of town. Two nights we took an Uber and it was only about $5.75. The house had everything we needed from a hair dryer, towels, and dish ware to various lovely seating areas, including a sunroom, and front and back porches. The neighborhood was beautiful and felt very safe. The only downfall of the place was that the drain in the shower didn't drain properly. It wasn't a big deal, though. I would highly recommend this place to future visitors!
A Fun Week
Loved the little cottage. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. A very dog friendly neighborhood.
