This property was fantastic. All the rooms were very spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated. The floor in the main living area was heated which made the area very warm and comfortable. Each bedroom had a private bath as well as a half bath in the main living area. The kitchen was very well appointed with good quality cookware provided. There were 3 flat screen T.V.s and a stereo into which you could plug your IPOD. The bedrooms were very large with very comfortable bedding. The garage was under the unit which worked very well getting equipment and supplies in and out of the unit. Traveling to the Canyons base area of Park City was literally less than a 5 minute drive away. The town of Park City was approximately a 10-15 minute drive away pending traffic.
The property included access to a common hot tub(s). The hot tub for our unit was directly across the street which was very convenient. One of the main reasons we chose this unit was because we really enjoy getting into the hot tub after a hard day of skiing to rejuvenate our muscles and share the day with each other. The property management company that manages this property needs to be a LOT more cognizant of the chemistry in the hot tubs. We entered the hot tubs on two evenings. After the first evening, the chlorine in the tub seemed to be quite strong. In fact, after showering, I could still detect the presence of chlorine on my body. The second time we decided to enter the hot tub, we opened the hot tub for about 10 minutes before entering the tub to vent the tub a little in hopes that some of the chlorine would dissipate. By the time we exited the tub, everyone in our party exhibited what appeared to be chemical burns our backs and bellies. It has now been 7 days since I entered the tub the first time and my belly is still red and itchy albeit that my skin condition from the hot tub is improving. Perhaps a little education for the folks that manage the water chemistry in the tubs would be appropriate. Hot tub water is difficult to maintain and should be checked regularly especially when shared with the public. The chlorination was more than aggressive in this tub.
I would definitely recommend this property, but would caution the use of the hot tub until the problem is addressed properly.
This is our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it! I will never stay anywhere else while visiting Park City. The cabin is cozy, spacious and was perfect for our party of 6. The grounds are beautiful and Sevi was extremely helpful in getting us set up. 5 stars.
