Experienced owners host this spectacular home away from home. You will find top of the line comfort and luxury in this three bedroom + den, three and a half bath duplex. We have new quality towels and linens throughout. Our gourmet kitchen with granite counter-tops is fully stocked with a complete selection of cookware, new dinnerware, utensils, serving pieces, platters, all newer small appliances and spices. We have everything you would need for both a quiet meal and a Holiday feast.

Beautiful views, a private hot tub with towels and robes, radiant floor heating, a large gourmet kitchen and DirecTv in five rooms (including the Living Room with 52" LCD HD television) are just some of the amenities you will experience in our Gold King home. . About Julie Heck

Julie and Scott Heck have always had a love for the mountains and outdoor adventure. After visiting Colorado and Breckenridge many times they were fortunate enough to relocate to the Denver area in 2004. By budgeting carefully after moving from California, they were able to purchase a condo in Breckenridge shortly thereafter. They had updated and upgraded the Christiana condo and managed its rentals. Since they began renting the condo when they were not using it, and it had such a high rental demand, they purchased 67 Gold King during the summer of 2007. Gold King is a three-bedroom plus den, three and a half bath home in the mountains alongside Peak 10 also in the town of Breckenridge. They continue to enjoy all the year round activities that Breckenridge has to offer. Julie and Scott especially love to ski, with their two children who prefer snowboarding in the winters. During the summers, they enjoy amazing hikes, biking all around Summit County, whitewater rafting, and going to explore nearby towns. They invite you to enjoy their home away from home and are sure you’ll come back to Breckenridge again and again. Get ready to enjoy experiences that will continue throughout your lifetime!

This still holds true after living just over an hour away for almost 9 years and even after moving back to California about 4 years ago.

"My family spent 8 nights and 7 days at Gold King. The building layout was perfect for skiers and the attention to detail was meticulous. The kitchen and pantry were very well stocked. The parking pass to the base of the Gondola to peaks 7 and 8 were very convenient. All in all a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely use this facility in the future."

Great location, layout and amenities!

Stayed here with a framily group this winter. The proximity to slopes, floorplan and home amenities made this a great spot. Julie made the renting process super smooth. The kitchen is well stocked - down to the coffee bean grinder that our group of coffee snobs loved finding so as to make the perfect pot every morning. The layout was great for our group that spanned ages - those with young ones could go to bed early without hampering the activities of the night owls playing board games. We ski every year and everyone agreed this place was definitely on repeat list!

Awesome skiing vacation!

We've rented many homes and this is the best equipped house we have ever rented. It is extremely convenient to Breckenridge, clean, well maintained and very well designed. The kitchen and living room were fantastic. The master bedroom is on a separate floor from the other 3 bedrooms which is really nice. We love this place and highly recommend it.

Fantastic Ski Weekend Rental!

Gold King Way was a fantastic rental for a large group ski weekend! From the booking process to check out, the owner, Julie, was fantastic in providing details about the house and Breck. The house is VERY well outfitted - the kitchen has an endless supply of cookware, pantry items, and a large grill. The house made for a perfect getaway for a group of friends. Excellent home in Breckenridge

Fantastic home in Breck. We stayed for 5 nights and have nothing but excellent things to say about the rental. The house was immaculate, also great construction. We were a group of guys and a few nights some stayed up later than others, while we had some music on and we were being a little loud, you could not hear us in the bedroom. The beds were high quality, I'm in Vail, writing this review and staying at a 5 star rated property, and the beds at Jukie's house were more comfortable. What can I saw about the kitchen, we made a roast, with sides of veggies and potatoes, everything you could need to cook was there!!! This is not very common in rental properrties, it was stocked with any staple you could need to cook. Spices, oils, even peanut butter and jelly, coffee.

All my buddies were thrilled with the accomadations, everyone couldn't believe how nice it was. Julie was also very accomadting, giving us an early check in and a late departure. The house was a $10 uber ride into town, very good if you're going to being having some cocktails or if you don't feel like driving on the snowy roads. I highly recommend this rental.

Incredible Ski in/Ski Out in Breck

The pictures do not do this house justice. Incredibly furnished, well kept house just minutes from downtown Breck. All floors are heated and a welcome surprise when you first walk in. Tons of room with a massive master bedroom/bathroom. Hot tub and grill on the deck make for a relaxing time after a day on the slopes. When skiing from the house, the entrance is right at the end of the street (only three houses down) marked by a trail marker. One thing to note, when skiing back off of Flapjack, the entrance to the trail is marked by an out of bounds sign with backcountry warnings. Do not be alarmed, the trail is mostly flat and is marked by green arrows on the trees. One other note, I highly recommend renting a four-wheel drive car. Our mini-van was not the best choice. Definitely recommend this to any group looking for a great house in Breck with premier access to the slopes.

Car: recommended

Best skiing location in Colorado with an unequaled Historic town to match. Town is only 1 mile away from this property and drop-in skiing is simply across the street. There are many beautiful trails and paths to hike and bike safely with children when not taking advantage of the slopes in Winter. There is also high mountain lake boating and fishing nearby at Lake Dillon and outlet stores just down the way. Don't forget about all the great Shopping and wonderful Dining on Main Street. There is something for every taste and desire in Breckenridge. Every effort is made to ensure that our rental calendar (showing availability) is current at all times.
