We as a family have been skiing for over 25 years and renting vacation properties for 22 of those. This was the first time we were underwhelmed with the property and management. We have stayed in the park city deer valley area several times and the less expensive properties were definitely newer and better taken care of. For what we paid we arrived to find a home in need of some tlc. All six mattresses were very uncomfortable. The furnace was either not keeping the house warm enough or scorching hot. The central humidification system was not working and the tiny hot tub was ice cold. On top of that there were no warm blankets on the beds. Just thin quilts, strange for a ski resort where outside temps were in the single digits. I will say when we called management they did send someone to fix the hot tub and check the thermostat which helped. But it seemed the house was rarely serviced between renters. Also instructions on how to get to the slopes was non existent and we had to depend on the neighbors for instructions on where to throw the trash out. I called management and she seemed to have no idea where the dumpster was. On a positive note the view is fantastic. Location is a short walk from the slopes but kids found it long after a full ski day. Condo was clean overall and clean towels were brought daily. However we all felt that for what we paid we should have gotten more for the money. Last year we stayed down the road for less and it was a much nicer ski in/out unit.
We did have a few issues. We kept having trouble with the furnace. The first day it didn't turn on at all and it as 55 degrees in the house. Maintance came out a few times and got it to turn on- but then it wouldn't turn off and the house was 80 degrees. We also had trouble checking out. Showed up to turn in the garage opener and waited and waited for somebody but nobody was there so we just left in on the desk? We would stay again, but be aware this is a three floor condo. We didn't know that somehow from the listing.
Beautiful 3 level townhome with a great view. Comfortably slept 4 couples in bedrooms. Well maintained and serviced daily. Convenient 10min walk to the Silver lake ski lifts. The hot tub was wonderful, however a little tight for 9 people. Only complaint was the upstairs bedroom was very hot, while one of the downstairs bedrooms was cold.... maybe this was the people in the rooms, but we could never seem to dial in the correct temperatures.
I would recommend Little Belle 8 to a friend.
