The place definitely needs some updates. The lower unit's bed was not even, thus, making it very uncomfortable to sleep in. The shower was very difficult to use too. It was leaking everywhere and you just had to hold the shower to take a bath. The upstairs pull out bed was also uneven and not suitable for sleeping anymore. There was ice on the steps heading towards the house and this made it very slippery to walk on. In fact, we slipped and fell a couple of times on the very dangerous step. I would expect that the property management would at least clear this area of ice to make it easy for the renters to walk on.
The rental was as described, and everything was as I expected.
While the cabin was perfect for our short escape to Big Bear, we stayed with two small children and the driveway was quite treacherous with the ice and snow. It was quite an adventure hauling our gear in and upstairs and then getting us and our children in and out. The cabin inside was lovely only negative being the driveway and terrain getting in to the cabin.
