Tennessee Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Little Pine Lodge is an owner-managed intimate log cabin in a secluded, quiet and beautiful forest setting. It has one master king bedroom and one bath and a queen bed in the loft. It is centrally located in peaceful Wears Valley, 15-20 minutes from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is also just steps away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and a five minute ride to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the park. You will not find a cabin closer to the National Park. In fact you will feel like the cabin is in the Park.

You will love relaxing in the steam sauna. If you have never experienced it, you are in for a treat.

It is easily accessible by car with well maintained wide roads and ample off road paved parking. This is an upscale cabin with nice views in a very private wooded setting. It is perfect for a honeymoon or a second honeymoon as well as a vacation home for a small family.

Little Pine Lodge is an authentic log cabin with all wood interior including wide plank pine floors, hand peeled pine logs and rhododendron wood features. When you enter Little Pine Lodge, you will feel the warm, cozy ambience of a cabin in the mountains with all the comforts of home. This is a great place to unwind and forget about the outside world. It is also is in a prime area for viewing wildlife and you might even see some on the deck!

Little Pine Lodge sleeps up to four people with a king-size bed in the master and a queen bed in the loft, both with comfy pillowtop mattresses.

We have a good selection of books about the area including hiking, fishing, wildlife and general history of the area as well.

The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and custom copper etched-leaf countertops. You will find a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, range and microwave, as well as a washer and dryer. Cooking utensils and dishes are all provided. We also provide firewood and starter, when in season, as well as most of the things that you would commonly need during your stay, such as all soaps, detergents and basic seasonings.

Feel free to have a bowl of popcorn in front of the wood burning fireplace, as everything is included for a relaxing evening with widescreen cable TV, DVD player and extensive video library. For those who need to stay connected, wireless high speed cable internet is provided.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Neal,

Just had to drop you a quick email to let you know how much Spence and I loved Little Pine Lodge. It really is heaven on earth. Everything about it was just right and we relaxed more on this vacation than any other in the 20+ years we’ve been together. Like many in your guest book, it is our plan to come back again. Thank you for providing such a charming and lovely place for our 2011 vacation.

Best regards,

Laura and Spence W

PS on Monday at twilight, we had a bear come by – walked up into the turnaround area and then right past the living room, Spence’s truck and up the hill. It was the only one we saw and absolutely thrilling!

Wow!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was wonderful. The atmosphere was amazing. We put the kitchen to full use. We loved being so close to the GSMNP and a short distance from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I recommend the drive through the park if you plan on heading into Gatlinburg. Be prepared to stop several times to take in the views and roadside waterfalls.

Amazing cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This place is amazing! Perfect for our family of 4. It is beautifully decorated and a great location. So close to Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was nestled into trees and was very private and peaceful. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Beautiful setting - attention to details would have made it beautiful anniversary

  • 3 of 5

Had problems with the instructions. Instructions from owner stated Lyon street. There is no Lyon it is Lion. We drove back and forth numerous times in attempt to find the street that didnt exist. Not a good start to our 1st anniversary trip. Hot tub cycles every 12 hours. Unfortunately it was only after being woke up the 2nd morning at 3 am that we decided to call owner. Cell phones had no service so had to use home phone that was advertised there. However home phone had no long distance so I couldn't call owner. Finally found a place with Cell phone service and left message. 3 of the numbers listed in the cabin book were disconnected. Owner called back on home phone, but phone needs replacing. Fully charged phone would only last 3 minutes. Cabin and cabin setting was beautiful. These frustrating items could have easily been avoided!

Well maintained beautiful spot

  • 5 of 5

My family of three recently stated at Little Pine Lodge. This was my third visit. Every time we have enjoyed the beautiful clean cabin. We like sleeping in the loft because you can see trees on three sides through huge windows, making it feel like a tree house. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grill. The two decks are both enjoyable. The owner, Neal Rudnick, is very quick to respond to all questions/issues via email. We have enjoyed our stay each time we have visited, and would recommend the cabin to anyone who wants easy access to the national park and a quiet getaway.

Beautiful cabin, close to GSMNP

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect size for our little family! Our boys loved having the loft to themselves! It is close enough to town to do touristy things and close enough to the park and trails to get out and sight see. There is a park 2 miles from the cabin that is perfect for small children to play in the water and picnic. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for meals in. With small children, we didn't want to have to eat out every meal. If you forget anything, there is a dollar general within 5 mins. There is one cabin that is fairly close but that wasn't an issue for us but may be for others. The cabin was easy to find and easy to get to by car.

Beautiful place to stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin!

Unforgettable Experence

  • 5 of 5

We had so much fun. My husband and two little girls enjoyed spending three days in the cabin. The atmosphere of the cabin give us a feeling that we are in a fancy tree house. The cabin was very clean, well prepared, and close from attractions. We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thank you Neal for this unforgettable experience.
