This private home is located just a 2 minute walk from one of 3 private sandy beaches with restrooms, showers, volleyball and playground equipment. Also, just minutes from Wisconsin's second and fourth largest lakes. Access to Associations pools and tennis courts. Home is located on a quiet road across from Lake Arrowhead. The large 2 level deck is perfect for relaxing and watching the deer, birds and wild turkeys that frequent the property. An outdoor fire pit is located near the deck and is a popular gathering area for late night campfires, or a lively game of horeshoes at the backyard horsehoe pit. There is plenty of parking in the wide driveway for all your boats, ATV's, snowmobiles, etc. and the trails are right out of the driveway. The Lake Arrowhead Lakes Course and Pines course in Rome are just a few blocks away for the golfer. Snowmoble right out of the driveway.
Fully equipped kitchen, with (to name a few things) toaster, blender and popcorn popper..
There are two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs (newly remodeled). The kids will love having the lower level all to themselves. Home is tastefully decorated in a northwoods theme that will add to your relaxation. Wild flower gardens and fountain on the deck. Mature trees provide plenty of shade in the yard. Sun worshippers will appreciate the extra large private deck. We hope you will enjoy Lake Arrowhead and Adams County as much as we do and will want to return year after year.

Our family loves our vacation home! Enjoy the large deck and firepit along with the many nearby numerous private beaches and golf courses. Abundant wildlife to watch. My dog enjoys the birds and squirrels eating at the feeders.
Christine Monroe purchased this house in 2005
It is a beautiful area that not many people know about. 5 lakes and 2 challenging golf courses, with another being built. What more can you ask for?
Peace and quiet, away from it all! I have heard from the guests how they appreciate the well stocked kitchen with the popcorn popper, blender, toaster, set of pots & pans, etc.
Had a great week of R&R along with some fishing, swimming and campfires. The weather was great, only a few storms and they were at night. It is a beautiful area where we made some lasting memories!
The house is great and roomy for 5 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog! The resort is amazing! We didn't even have enough time to check out all the beaches! It is very worth the $2 a day for a pass! Close enough of a drive to go into the Dells, but you really do not need to leave the place. Took the bikes out one morning and rode all around the quiet streets and saw so many deer! We will be planning a trip back next year for sure!
Thank you to Christine for making everything seamless and relaxing!
This was the perfect home for our family get away. We had 9 people there - my husband and I , three adult children, a son-in-law, my son's girlfriend and 2 grandchildren (2 years old and 9 months old). There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was well cleaned. (My daughter mentioned that the house cleaner must be fussy because there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere.) There was a beautiful sandy beach only about a 1/4 of a mile away. We walked/biked down there quite a few times. The roads around there are quiet and have a 25 mph speed limit. Perfect for bike rides around the area. (The owner provides 2 adult and one child bike.) On one evening bike ride there was a doe and her 2 fawns that sauntered across the road right in front of us. We also had use of a very nice, large pool that was just a 5 minute drive from the house that we enjoyed on a couple days. There is a firepit in the backyard where we savored s'mores, pudgie pies and relaxing conversation. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed so we ate in most of the time. For fantastic fish try the Trails End Tavern just down the road. A plus is there is a different band playing at the Trails End outdoor patio every Friday and Saturday in the summer. We took in the ski show that was 1/2 mile from the house. The reasoning for our getaway was to spend time all together with family and have a little fun thrown in. This place was the perfect place to accomplish this. My daughter said "the minute I stepped in the house I felt at home." Can't beat that. We will definitely go back. P.S The owner is awesome to work with and very helpful!
My family of 8 stayed here for a 5 day getaway and we were very pleased. The house had everything we needed, even a blow dryer! The house is located in a perfect spot for plenty of beach, boating, pool, and golfing fun! We rented a pontoon at the Lure Bar and Grill on Lake Petenwell and it was awesome! Next time we will bring kayaks. We went 45 minutes to the Dells and enjoyed a fun day there too. Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations and the beautiful surrounding area. We would love to go back!
house was nice with a few exceptions. the cleaning crew forgot everything should be dusted, especially the overhead fan in the livingroom. the internet was not very reliable, think the router might be pooched. nice pool at the clubhouse. we are all motorcycle riders and having a garage was very handy. i,d recommend this place to friends. lots of wild life around too.
We took a week's vacation with our daughters and 5 grand kids at this home in Nekoosa . We wanted to stay within driving distance to Wisconsin Dells, but wanted to avoid the high prices for lodging in the Dells. This home worked out very well for all 10 of us. With 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, we were not crowded at all. Nice open kitchen and living room concept and patio doors leading out to a large deck. We were able to have a campfire in the backyard and grilled our own dinners . It is in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and beautiful houses and winding roads. Very secluded. It was clean and well maintained. Christine was very easy to communicate with and did provide us with great service. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. We would definitely recommend this to property to our friends and family.
