Absolutely perfect in every way!
This charming home has a wonderful view from the boathouse deck and front porch! The kitchen and linens were well stocked. WiFi would be nice, but overall, we had a great time at the boathouse and bungalow and look forward to renting again!
Charming cottage, just the size we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Great view! We enjoyed the porch for reading, dinners and morning coffee Spent a lot of time fishing from the dock and canoe. Appreciate ability to bring old Chesapeake Bay Retriever to enjoy fetching off the dock. Could not find a double blade paddle for the kayak, so did not use kayak very much. Overall a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing experience. Thank you Laura, for helping me book your home. Hope to visit again.
Thanks for the kind words...we work hard to give every guest a place to relax and renew that’s comfortable and sweet...the lake does the rest. Please become one of our repeat guest family...we’d love to have you.
Came here for World Equestrian Games at Tryon, the house was perfect for us - loved coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. The weather didn't cooperate for much lake time, but that didn't spoil the trip. Host was responsive, and we had a very nice stay.
Thanks for the kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you plan a return visit soon...Lake Summit is a wonderful place to uplug and unwind...maybe your next stay will allow you time to canoe around the lake and up the river....look forward to hearing from y'all again.
Fantastic location with minimal traffic on end of S Lake Summit Drive
Summit View exceeded our expectations! Perfect sized kitchen for creating meals, and thank goodness all kitchen appliances and amenities. We loved the fact that there were basics available such as sugar, coffee, salt and pepper, trash bags, and minimal necessities for a relaxing stay. Our 2.5 year old Golden Retriever spent hours fetching sticks from lake throw-ins! He was exhausted from the swimming. We will come back!
Wonderful and Relaxing
We had a great stay in this wonderfully charming home. The location is amazing, access to the lake via the boathouse was what made our trip. Normally we use a VRBO as a jumping off point to see an area. This time we never left beyond a trip to the Ingles grocery store. The house and location had it all!
