Come stay in our newly decorated, two bedroom condo located in the Liftside Condominium complex. Ground level with easy access to underground, heated parking. All safe and secure. Enter and exit from your own private deck, no need to go through the building. This condo has no units above or on either side, truly like a private home. Bring your laptop - FREE Wireless Internet.

A high vaulted ceiling with an open floor plan makes this condo remarkable. No one is left out of the action with the open kitchen arrangement and great room. Over 1150 square feet of living space. View the mountains while preparing dinner in the full kitchen. The fully stocked, large, wood-burning fireplace takes the chill off those cool summer nights. Relax by the fireplace with your favorite beverage!

Located just outside the ground level door are the enclosed swimming pool and hot tub. Relax after a day of hiking or biking, in the heated hot tub or do some laps in the pool.

Located in the Mountain House area of Keystone, you have easy access to shopping, dining, nightlife just steps from your unit. A five-minute walk to the River Run area for even more action. New restaurants and nightclubs in the River Run area along with child care. Or walk to Keystone Lodge for shopping, dining, or paddleboats on the Keystone pond.

Don't forget the FREE Summit County shuttle service. Park your car and ride the shuttle to River Run, Keystone Lodge, shopping at the City Market Grocery Store, Gart Brothers, Silverthorne Factory Outlets, or to Breckenridge!

This complex is a short 150 yard, five minute walk to both lifts in the Mountain House area of Keystone. Please note that snow conditions dictate which lifts and runs are open.

About The Owner

Thanks for visiting our web site. My wife Julie and I reside at Lake Winnebago, MO, just south of Kansas City. We have one son and a dog. We own our own manufacturing business in Lee's Summit, Mo. I grew up in Lee's Summit and my wife was born in Vermillion, KS, but moved often as her dad worked for the railroads.

Our son works for Expedia as a programmer. Now he gets paid for what he previously was in trouble for at home when growing up!

The Owner purchased this condo in 2002

Why The Owner chose Summit County Colorado

Our family started skiing again in 1988. We finally decided to purchase a condo in Keystone since we skied often. We found this 2-bedroom unit at Liftside Condominiums after a long search. We liked the convenient location, the ground level entrance and easy access plus the high ceilings, which contribute to the openness of this condo. So many units we had looked at gave the feeling of being closed in.

What makes this condo unique

This unit is located directly inside the parking garage so there are no stairs to climb or elevators to wait for. This unit is very quiet being there are no units located above or on either side of our condo unit. Also the easy access to outside. Being a ground floor unit, you do not have to go through the building to go outside. The unit has two entrances. One by the parking garage and the other off the ground level deck.

The location was awesome and the owner Gary was helpful, however there were a few issues.

My family stayed here for our Christmas. There was 5 of us except for 1 night there was 7. The condo itself was nice however it could use a little updating. We never got the heat regulated. It was either too hot or too cold. Too many thermostats! The master bedroom window was cracked so we put a towel around it to keep the cold air out. Gary had us to remove the towel but never fixed it until the day we left. We ran out of Hot water the 1st morning on the 3rd shower. We told Gary that the cleaning lady didn't leave any dish rags and only 1 dish towel. he said they would drop by more but never did. We stayed 8 nights and had to do towels and washcloths every other day to have clean ones. DO NOT plan on being able to sleep anyone on the sofa sleeper if it is pulled out, just saying! Over all nice but just plan on no more than 4 adults and 2 kids on bunkbeds. Little things like extra toilet paper, extra paper towels, kleenex's, and a few extra forks (only 7 there) would have made our stay a little nicer!

Owner's Response: Judy- I apologize your stay had issues. I know from the beginning you had issues understanding how to use the Homeaway app for access, information, etc. Had you taken my advice in my emails and spent some time planning your trip in advance by exploring and reading through the app your experience would have been much more enjoyable. The app that Homeaway developed to aid in a pleasant experience addresses many of your issues, especially linens, paper goods, etc. I find when guests just show up as you did, the whole experience tends to be unpleasant. I know for a fact you did not read the material as twice you asked how to access the condo. You asked for early entry and I was able to get you early entry due to housekeeping showing up early. You never mentioned these issues the numerous times I talked to you face to face when I was shoveling snow. I am always just a phone call away. I received no calls pertaining to your issues. As you may recall, I arranged to have the window closed for you on 2 different occasions, of which both times you did not allow the person access to the unit. I had sent you 2 different emails asking for them to be able to enter. One time, all the lights were on and the TV was on but you would not answer the door. Upon your departure, it took me less than 2 seconds to crank the window closed and secure the window. Thermostats, very simple to operate. I thought after I gave you detailed written instructions on how to operate a thermostat you had this under control. I did not realize you still had issues turning a thermostat up and down. I have addressed the linen issue with house keeping. I was not aware they did not bring you more items after I called them and made a request as you did not let me know, just like you did not let me know about the window issue until I received a call from the property manager and had to ask. I have had no issues with the water heater, which is about a year old. They will run out of hot water when too much is used. Your usage I can not control. The sleeper sofa, as you said, is a sleeper sofa. There is a foam mattress pad to be used on the bed to make it more comfortable. Your reservation was for 6. I was not aware you had more than 6 guests staying. Proper communication will make a stay much more enjoyable. I will always return your call and address your issue immediately when notified. Some items can be corrected during the stay and at times other items may need to be addressed differently.

Nice unit close to lift

My stay in this condo was perfect. Nice unit, described accurately. Easy walk to the lifts. Gary is very quick to respond to any problem / questions I had. Overall a great stay. Hope to book unit again in the future.

Great Location!

Very spacious for two bedrooms. We stayed for two weeks with 4 young kids and had plenty of room.

Perfect for our mix of family

My family of 4 headed to Keystone with my father-in-law. We have stayed in Liftside before and it is a very convenient building and this unit in particular. It was nice to stay on the ground floor and avoid the crazy staircases. We gave my father-in-law the master suite and stayed in the bunk room. It was nice to be separated from him by the common area. He is a big TV watcher, although we are not, and was disappointed in the TV in master bedroom and common area. The pool was cold due to a boiler issue, but the hot tub was great and just across from the room. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends as well. We picked up our key the first day in Frisco and skied Breckenridge that day, but it would be nice to avoid that trip if you can. Gary was very responsive to all questions. My only recommendation is to have the porch shoveled off by the cleaning crew. It was a bit icy in spots when we arrived.
