This townhome was built in 2006 to the Dade County codes and is located in a quiet gated community close to Health Park hospital and our new library. It is close to both Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach. There are lots of golf courses very close. Good restaurants as well as fast food eateries and Publix, my favorite grocery store, are nearby.
There are all ages who live here from young children to retired folks. The pool is large and overlooks one of the lakes. This is where everyone meets there new neighbors!. There are no through streets and only one entrance and exit which has a 24/7 gate guard. Health Park Hospital is within walking distance.

I am Cookie the Clown and I live here in Sail Harbour myself. So I will usually be available if you should need me. I go to hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, assisted living homes and any place where I can bring a little cheer. I also volunteer at the Book Nook which is run by the Friends of the Library. I am a native Floridian, born in north Florida near Tallahassee, moved to Fort Myers from Miami. My father was in the Army so I have lived all over and moved quite a bit. I am a Master Gardener and love all kinds of plants and gardens. Right now, my passion is growing sprouts. I never realized how nutritious they are and how many things can be sprouted until recently. Before I retired, I worked for Burdines and J.C. Penney as a custom decorator. That is one reason why I have enjoyed decorating 4 townhomes in Sail Harbour...three of which I rent furnished. This townhome is done in the Tommy Bahama style which is one of my favorites.

I like the Mediterranean look at Sail Harbour. I like the lakes and the security and the quiet streets. I also like the fact that it is only 4 years old and the construction is solid concrete with hurricane windows. The bathrooms and kitchens are modern with classy cabinets and fixtures. It was built to the Miami building code. So if we should have another hurricane, I will be staying here.
This townhome is on a pretty lake with a fountain and a Royal Poinciana tree right outside the lanai. The ducks and shore birds visit from time to time. The Tommy Bahama decor is especially nice. And the walk-in pantry and kitchen cupboards are filled with all kinds of fun and useful dishes, glasses and appliances. The downstairs is tiled and the two stories (over 1900 sq.ft. under air) provide lots of privacy.
What a fabulous home to stay in!!! We just spent 3months and loved every minute!! We love the location of Sail Harbour to absolutely everything!! The beaches, Sanibel and Captiva, shopping and endless restaurants And bars. The entertainment in this area is amazing.
The home is furnished beautifully and very well equipped. Patricia was thoughtful and wonderful to deal with. She always got back to us right away when we contacted her. We have enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to everyone!! We loved it!!👍😃🌴☀️
We had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this beautiful town home for 2 months this winter. We absolutely loved our stay here and have booked for 3 months next year!! It is located close to everything.....shopping, restaurants, bars, golfing and of course the beaches!! The weather was superb this year. We had 19 days in the 80's and 12 in the 70's this January. February had 11 days in the 70's, 16 days in the 80's and 1 in the 60's. It only rained one full day with 2 other showers that lasted 15 minutes over the 2 months. When you come from snowy Canada this is paradise!!
The town home was spectacular with high end, top quality furnishings and kitchen supplies. It was well maintained and spotless. The internet pictures did not do this home justice!! Patricia was wonderful to deal with and always got back to us right away when we had questions or concerns. She was gracious and very informative about websites with places to go and shelling areas. She made us feel very welcome. She is great!!
The grounds and pool area are meticulous. The people living in the area were also friendly. We really felt that we were "home". All of our visitors were very impressed with the quality of the place, especially since it was a rental. They all want to come back too! LOL !!
We would recommend this town home to anyone. It was so much more than what we expected!! Looking forward to next year!!!! Can't wait!!!!
My family stayed here for a week in July 2012. The townhome is outstanding!! It was very clean and spacious. Each room in the home is decorated and spacious.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, a sitting area and a twin size massage bed. There is also a telephone and TV in the room. The closet is huge, with plenty of hangers available. The insuite bathroom is also very large, with a huge walk in shower, garden tub and twin sinks.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a large closet. There is also a tv in this room. The third bedroom has two twin size massage beds, a desk, and a television. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the beds are very comfortable. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway, right outside of these bedrooms.
The laundry room is located in the hallway, also, and has a newer set of Whirlpool washer and dryer.
All bedrooms and the laundry room are located on the second floor.
On the main living area floor there are 2 loveseat sofa's, which are very comfortable. The TV is a large screen television and there is a ceiling fan. The dining area contains a huge table that seats 6, but could easily accomodate 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything most people would need, just like you have in your own home. There is also a half bath on the 1st floor and a large pantry. A small lanai (screened porch) is located just off the dining room and is perfect for watching the sunrise over the lake!
There is also a 2 car attached garage.
In a nutshell, this place was PERFECT for my family of four. We were so happy to see how spacious and clean it was and to have met Mrs. Myers. We were even able to bring our two small Daschunds and Mrs. Myers set out bowls for them, so they would feel at home, too.
I almost forgot that the home is only 10 minutes from Ft. Myers Beach and 15 minutes from Sanibel Island. We were there for a baseball tournament and found that all of the ball parks (Terry Park, Jet Blue Park, Lee County park, and 5-Plex) were all within 20 minutes of us. There is also a Publix 5 minutes away and Walmart only 10 minutes away. We also found perhaps the best pizza and Italian restaurant in Ft Myers (Pizza Pub), only 5 minutes away.
We can't wait for our next visit to the Ft. Myers area and when we are there, we will definately try to stay here again, if it is available. If not, there are several other townhomes in the Sail Harbour community that Mrs. Myers owns and we will stay in one of those.
Our family travels a lot…our 13-year-old daughter is all about participating in Triathlons across the Country! My wife and I own our own businesses making travel easy, fun, and very beneficial to our daughter’s appreciation for our great country!!!
When we travel, we are always looking for upscale accommodations, especially away from the hotel circuit and the noise and uglies of daily check-ins and check-outs. Whenever we can, we always search for a home to be our home away from home.
During Easter Week, we had occasion to travel to Ft Meyers to allow her to compete in the 3rd annual Florida Gulf Coast University Triathlon. (I must brag that she came in first among all the female participants.
I searched, and searched (I will deny that I am hard to please – ha ha) to find a home for us to enjoy while we were competing and vacationing. We were lucky enough to find the Sail Harbour VRBO property. The owner and I communicated back and forth regarding her property. My nature is to be skeptical, so I asked many questions, and then researched the answers I received for confirmations. We booked the house, and without a doubt – I am very glad I did!
I can tell you that Sail Harbour was under described…it was spectacular! Everything we had sought was there as promised. Walking into the house was to find it as if she had decorated it specifically for us. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious.
This is a property that we will rent again. We give it a six star rating!

There is a $200. per month deposit when booking. The rest is paid as follows: One-half is due 60 days before arrival. The other half is due 30 days before arrival.
Refundable Damage Deposit: $200.
Refundable Keys, Pool card, Garage door opener deposit: $100.
Cleaning fee: $125. This is also refundable if you care to leave the town home in the same condition that you found it.
There is a $200. a month deposit when booking. Then half of the balance is due 60 days before arrival. The other half is due 30 days before arrival. Personal checks work fine for me. I do not have a credit card account...just a homeowner with four townhomes I rent to vacationers.
