We fell in love with the charm, location and beautiful surroundings of Incline Village, and only fell deeper when we discovered this Swiss-style mountain community (still within minutes of the lake).
Where to begin... We can pop over to Diamond Peak and ski whenever we like. We can run down to the Hyatt for dinner, shows and gambling. We have access to a large, fairly new private Recreation Center, where we use the frequent the gym and pool. We also have access to a lakeside pool and two beaches that are only accessible to Incline residents (and renters). We have easy access to some of the most beautiful locations around the lake, and getting to Truckee, Reno and Carson City is easy when we need to. There are many other benefits, depending on your interests and preferences. Just ask us and I'm sure we can help point the way.
We stayed here, two couples for a 3 day weekend getaway and this spot was amazing! The house was hillside and had great view to the mountains. It was very clean and well equipped with all you could want and more including espresso machine, waffle maker, and full kitchen cookware. We loved the spacious living room and fireplace to cozy up to late night. And we loved that there were two separate bedroom areas, one upstairs and one downstairs with their own individual bathrooms. In addition this place is a few minute drive to Diamond Peak so easy access to slopes, as well as being close to the quaint town of incline village. We certainly would stay here again and recommend it to others!
We stayed for a 3 day weekend with my wife, child and my in-laws. The place looked better in person than in the pics. It's in a great location close to skiing, snow parks, grocery stores and the lake. All of the rooms and bathrooms were very nice. The whirlpool bath was fantastic and comfortably fits two people. Lots of great views from the living room and very quiet. We would rent again in a heart beat.
I feel lucky to have come across this property. I stayed here with my 4 person family and 2 dogs over the holidays. Everyone loved the chalet and felt cozy the moment we opened the door. The couches are comfortable and there is more than adequate space for cooking and dining. The only thing I'll say, and this is a personal preference but feel i should mention for those who are interested, the mattresses felt firm. It's a great neighborhood to take your dog for walks on leashes. My parents stayed inside most of the time because it was chilly outside, but I was able to sneak away and go snowboard. The first day I went to Heavenly, which was about 40 minutes away, but the second day I went to Diamond Peak and that is basically a hop, skip and a jump away from the property. The owners provided very clear and thorough directions for your stay so you're not left wondering how to operate anything. I love Incline Village in general, but this place has been one of my favorite to stay out. Highly recommended!
We had a great time staying at this lovely Lake Tahoe home! Nestled in the hills of a Tyrolean-style village, this cute home has everything you need to enjoy the area. It is only about 1/2 a mile or so from Diamond Peak skiing, and close to town. The home is well maintained and larger than it appears in the VRBO photos. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a large fireplace and three big TV's with lots of available channels. The best feature in my estimation is the two-person hot tub in the upstairs bathroom! There is also a fantastic shower downstairs with multiple shower heads and tons of hot water. The neighbors we met were all very friendly and our son joined in snow fun with the kids across the street. There is a long staircase leading up to the entrance of the house so be prepared for that. The roads are well-plowed and the stairs are shoveled by a service so the snow was never an issue.
We stayed 4 nights at this comfortable rental home. The location of the house is very convenient to the lake, dining and mountain bike trails. The deck was great for enjoying a nice BBQ dinner with friends. We were very happy that our dog was welcome at the rental and were able to keep him on the deck with a cable. Our deposit was promptly returned within a few days after our stay. Hope to come back and stay during ski season. Thanks Gary and Arlene!
