This Rockaway Beach vacation rental is a great rental for large groups of people (and their furry companions) looking to explore the Oregon Coast. With magnificent views, a hot tub, and only a short walk to the beach, this is the home for you!
Just a mile to downtown Rockaway Beach, and less than 200 feet from the surf, this vacation rental offers quiet, natural beauty, and urban delight to suit the needs of every member of your large party.
This is a duplex made up of two separate units (call Vacasa for individual listings). It shares a spacious backyard with a firepit, a gas grill, and a picnic table and a spacious upper balcony with a hot tub, making it hard to be inside when the weather is nice and the skies are clear.
This home comes equipped with WiFi, cable, DVD players, board games, and a washer/dryer per floor. Each unit has its own kitchen for convenience, and both have dishwashers.
The upstairs unit offers nothing but natural light with windows on all sides, exposed wood beams and wood siding, plus a preserved brick wall for spunk. The simple decor and standard furnishings encourage guests to gaze outwards towards the ocean.
The upstairs dining room has an eight person table for large meals as a group.
The upstairs has a single bedroom and bathroom, with a queen bed and two additional sleeper sofas for up to six guests.
Downstairs is a little darker and more humble, but warm with its knotty wood siding and ceilings. A similar configuration allows guests an opportunity to lounge in the living room or out on the deck while a meal is prepared in the separate eat-in kitchen.
Guests will sleep well in two bedrooms downstairs - a private bedroom with a single queen, and a larger bunk room with a full and two twin beds. The downstairs also shares a bathroom, and has two more pull-out sofas for additional accommodations. Up to 10 guests may share the downstairs, putting the home's occupancy at 16 guests total. Pets may join for an additional nightly fee.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Stayed for a couple nights and were treated to incredible views, comfortable space for our 14 guests and the bonus of being able to bring a couple dogs along. The only knock is that the fireplace is out of order...not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know ahead of time from Vacasa instead of reading it in a previous review. The kitchens were well-equipped for cooking a few large meals, and the hot tub was a huge perk. Would absolutely stay here again for another getaway on the coast.
This home was perfect for my small group. We had 5 of us stay and we could have fit a lot more. The upstairs apartment is the place to hang out, the views of Twin rocks are incredible and the overall feeling up there is relaxing. Downstairs is more for sleeping and hanging out by the fire, a place to relax.
Sign closing the fireplace, saying the roof shifted and the chimney was tarped off. They could have mentioned and warned on the rental sites that no indoor fireplace was available for the entire coming season. Overall, the wood in the house needs a lot of tlc, tuneup and attention. Time to put a little money back in, but great location and view!
The view was beautiful. The house had a few things that could be fixed up but over all a very fun stay. There are lots of stairs so if there is a family member who has issues with stairs I would pick another house.
we had a great time at rockaway beach.
it was quiet and actually lots to do like visit hug point, Indian beach and ecola beach. it was a very friendly town and our dad who is 88 years old were able to roam around with ease.
the house we rented can use a lot of updating but we made it worked.
