Should you desire to cook while in paradise, this full size kitchen has a built in micro wave, an ultra quiet dishwasher and cookbooks from top Aloha chefs. A BBQ Grill tool set is available for successful grilling at one of the two Gas Barbeque areas and complete barware equipment is available for making mai tais to enjoy while watching the sunset from the lanai. If you would rather dine out, Whalers Village with its choices of excellent restaurants and shops is just steps away. No need to drive anywhere!
The custom furnishings and dramatic quality finishes throughout the living area were designed to relax you into the aloha state of mind! With beautiful travertine flooring in the entry and kitchen leading into plush carpet in the living area, you'll find a comfortable inviting atmosphere. When you aren't watching the whales or playing in the surf right outside your door, the condo's entertainment includes a large flat screen TV with DVD, IPod/Ipad docking station and free wifi. The king size bed features a Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress with luxurious sheets. The sheets have a 500 thread count and are 100% pima cotton - perfect for tropical conditions. The Studio is air conditioned with automatic climate control.
The bathroom features granite countertops, a dramatic onyx sink, beautiful travertine shower with bench and a crystalline travertine rock floor. There are ample thick hydrocotton Turkish bath towels for your use. A built in makeup mirror, hair dryer and walk in closet with built in custom drawers are additional touches to make your stay so much more relaxing. Also provided for your convenience and enjoyment of a leisurely day at the beach is a large Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, and two Tommy Bahama back pack beach chairs with attached coolers.
Go for a swim in the beachfront swimming pool, take a dip in the Jacuzzi, work out in the fitness center or play a round of golf at one of the two championship golf courses next door. The possibilities for fun and relaxation are practically endless! And, of course The Whaler is just minutes away from Lahaina with it's exciting mix of restaurants, shops and entertainment.

After visiting Maui for the first time over 15 years ago, I found that it was the perfect escape to rainy Pacific Northwest winters. My reading material of choice while laying on the beach quickly became Maui Real Estate magazines as I dreamt of one day owning my own place in paradise. After many years of dreaming and thinking about where the ideal location was, I found it at my home at The Whaler. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do. I believe that the sweeping views and the fabulous location combine to make it a perfect place to relax and experience Aloha (the breath of life)!

This condo is in a great spot! Close to restaurants, shopping and water sports. The view is spectacular! The owner is friendly and helpful. Important things to know: there's a full kitchen in the condo - utilize it, as eating out for every meal will get expensive. Washer and dryer are about 5 steps down the hall and they cost nothing to use. Rent a car so you can do things on other parts of the island. Know that people here go to bed early. Quiet hours are something like 8pm to 7 am.
Really nice studio with great kitchen and bathroom. The view of Black Rock is really nice. Just steps to the beach once you take the elevator down.
The Whaler is a beautiful facility right on Kaanapali Beach and the studio was beyond our expectations. Even though it was a studio we never felt cramped or claustrophobic. Jan has done a wonderful job of creating an inviting space. The pictures of the unit do not do it justice. The kitchen was spacious and the automatic ice maker really came in handy. Jan quickly responded to our emails whenever we had a question and had some great recommendations. The facility is so relaxing and enjoyable that our entire 8 days were a memorable experience. We certainly hope to come back again. Thanks Jan for help making our anniversary trip a memorable one!

First of all, this was without a doubt the best vacation we have ever experienced. Jan was very quick with every message response from the first inquiry to the final refund of our security deposit.
This is a great unit at the Whaler situated on the 9th floor with views of both the sunset on the white sand beach of Kaanapali and the sunrise of the West Maui Mountains. Everything in this unit was exactly as described in the pictures and exceeded our expectations in every way! The unit was extremely clean when we arrived.
The kitchen is up to date with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, utensils, plates, wine glasses, pots, pans, food storage containers, toaster, knives, spices, and more! All you would need to cook every meal just like at home.
The king size bed is extremely comfortable and is situated to be able to wake up each morning to the sunrise over the Mountains. The couch and chair are also very comfortable and provide views of the beach. The balcony has enough room with a lounge chair, chairs and table over looking the gardens below and is excellent for early morning or late night views of the beach.
The bathroom is up to date with granite countertop and stand up shower stall. There is a large walk in closet with lots of drawers and clothes hangers. There is even a cooler, beach chairs, and umbrella.
We enjoyed cooking several evening dinners down by the BBQ's over looking the beach! In our opinion, it was better than paying for an expensive dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Even though this unit is situated next to the elevator, it is very well insulated. We never heard any sounds from other guests or the rooms above or adjacent to us.
This unit has plenty of room for 2 people and felt like we were at home, except with fabulous views and ocean sounds!
The Whaler is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a condo on the beach. This particular unit is one of the best at the Whaler resort!
This was our fourth visit to the Whaler in the past fifteen years. The owners/Strata continue to upgrade the towers and property, which is very impressive to us. The towers and grounds look great. Jan's condo was as described, great views towards the ocean and towards the mountains. The condo was nicely decorated inside and made our stay care free. We highly recommend this unit and of course the Whaler. Enough cannot be said about the staff at the Whaler. That includes ground crews who maintain ponds and gardens, front desk staff, main gate staff, room personnel, cleaners, etc. Scott and Linda Connors Victoria BC Canada.
