Reviewer Comments:

Fantastic location, only a short walk to the slopes and the free shuttle bus to the village stopped just up the road. The ski home trail was incredible, especially on a powder day, and took us pretty much straight to our front door. Fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer were absolute life savers and the spa was obviously amazing after a long day on the slopes. Only complaint was that the fireplace stopped working halfway through our stay and despite calling numerous times it never got repaired. This was disappointing as we relied on the fireplace to dry our snowboarding gear each night. I would have no hesitation planning accommodation with whistler platinum again in the future.

Reviewer Comments:

We were very pleased with the townhome however from 8am - 5pm pretty much each day the house above was being seriously renovatated and we had drilling, banging, things bumping, very loud all day - if we had known that we would not have stayed in this apartment. Would maybe be good to find out things like this and advise the guests prior to check in - it was miserable being woken up to this each day on holiday. Would have also liked better guidance on ski-in/ski-out - the map in the folder was not clear and we only found the ski-in road on the last day because someone else told us about it - Whistler Platinum didn't. tell us.

Manager responded on 5/28/2016:

Thank you for your feedback. We are please to hear that you enjoyed our townhome during your visit, however we’re very sorry to hear about the disruptive renovation that occurred during your stay in the unit above. This was out of our control and something we were not made aware of prior to your visit, otherwise we would have been in contact with you prior to your arrival to advise of the work. We did inspect the property on December 24, prior to your arrival, but at that time there was no work being done as the crew had been on break for Christmas. Once again, our apologies and had we known of the scheduled work on the above unit, we would have promptly contacted you.

Reviewer Comments:

This property is in a great location and was very comfortable for our group of four.

We had a few unexpected issues during our stay. When we arrived, there were ants in the unit. Some were dead, some were alive. We contacted the management team and they sent someone to come clean them. They returned the next day with a few ant traps. The ant situation improved after that. Two things surprised us most with regards to this issue. First, the apartment had not been checked prior to our arrival. We assume it had been cleaned a few days ago, then left until we arrived. The unit previously had ant problems, so it seems like it would have been a good idea for them to re-check before we arrived. Second, the maintenance person indicated that this unit had not had problems with ants previously. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but there was a review of the unit that indicated a problem with ants.

The other minor thing was that when we checked in, they told us that the ski-in ski-out was still operational. We knew there was little snow, so this came as a surprise. The instructions to the ski-out led us down the hill to Cedar Creek where the ski-out was not accessible any more. We took the bus each day. On the last day, we noticed someone accessing a different ski-out path that was up the hill and chatted with some other people at the bus stop who said you could get to it. The bus was very convenient, but it would have been nice to have been given instructions to both ski-out areas (especially the accessible one).

I'd stay here again, but hope that they can fix the ant problem.

Manager responded on 3/20/2015:

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the ideal location of this property and that it was comfortable for your group of four. We must apologize that the ski-in/ski-out options were not properly communicated to your group upon check-in and from your feedback our check-in package now includes a ski-in/out map with both options. We do apologize that you experienced an ant issue upon your arrival but are pleased you took advantage of our in-house maintenance team to deal with the issue promptly. We will also be more vigilant throughout the year (not just in sum
