Notes:
Great mountainous log cabin for a getaway with privacy surrounded by a peaceful wooded setting. Great location for enjoying the beauty of the mountains and nearby outdoor activities of the Hot Springs area. Just a scenic 45 minute drive to Asheville and Waynesville. House is situation on top of somewhat of a steep driveway. Front wheel drive is needed. Front and/or 4 wheel drive would be needed for rain, snow or ice. In snowy or icey weather conditions, 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive would be needed to access the cabin.

Beautiful cabin in the most peaceful location.

  • 5 of 5

We loved visiting Falling Waters for the second time. The cabin is so clean - beautifully furnished with everything you could need for a get away. It is extremely peaceful and serene in the Spring Creek Preserve. We will be back.

Absolutely Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This is the tops in terms of a secluded out of the way place to spend a week (or more) away from it all. Beautiful, house, beautiful land, wonderful amenities - you won't go wrong staying here and the owner takes great care of the house and guests. Highly recommend staying here any time of the year but be careful of winter stays - if it snows (and it does there) you will need 4WD vehicle and even chains if the snow is deep but it will be well worth the trip regardless.

Beautiful and private

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was wonderful, so beautifully decorated. Love the wrap around porch and hot tub. There is lots to do in the area. We enjoyed a hot mineral bath by the French Broad River at the Hot Springs Spa. We witnessed the total eclipse on top of Max Patch! Awesome trip! Love that area of NC.

Our stay was great! Loved the peace and quiet!

  • 5 of 5

When we first arrived we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into. Once we settled in we loved the peace and quiet of the tranquil setting. Spent several nights in the hot tub with the whole family! Also loved the fire pit had a smores night! Great quality family time was spent with little technology interruptions. Great place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful scenery

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at Falling Waters. Probably the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at! Plenty of paper supplies provided, fluffy towels and comfortable beds. The loft bed is fairly high. The gravel road and driveway near the cabin are very steep. Hot tub went out after power outage one day and Ben the caretaker got it up and running again right away for us. Highly recommend this property for those wanting a quiet getaway.
