Breathtaking

Sunset Porch is a charming home in a breathtaking location! A day BBQing and visiting on the gorgeous sun deck! A lovely place to hike just steps away! An evening fire to warm the conversation. We had a wonderful weekend here and Kathleen was terrific!

We enjoyed our stay very much! BBQ in the deck overlooking the mountain n the valley is mesmerizing! Too bad weather was overcast the whole time!

It was near to Minneswaki Lake, Aowsting Fall, both are beautiful yet easy for all level hikers.

Our host Kathleen is great! Can't ask for more!

Lovely, in every way

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my sisters and all of our kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. This house is so full of love, beautiful objects, and windows. The views are everywhere and spectacular. The porch is vast and welcoming. There is a nice little hike walking distance from the house, welcoming hosts, lots of rooms. We were all smitten and hope to return next year.

Simply amazing

  • 5 of 5

We rent 8-10 homes a year always hoping to feel at home, not just at a house. Kathleen and Ruth's home was just that a HOME! We went to area for family birthday celebration and were not disappointed at all! Kathleen greeted us warmly and shared her home with open arms. The pix on the website don't do home justice.we pulled up with mouths open at the overall beauty. As a family who owns a 100+ year old home,we were very much at home. Don't come looking for modern come if you truly want to be part of a family home for that is what it is, not a rental! We can't thank Kathleen enough for our wonderful weekend!

House of the Four Winds - Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the graduation at West Point. It took about an hour to get from the house to W.P., but it was wonderful to have this large, beautiful house which allowed for most of our family to stay together rather than at a hotel separately (and it actually cost less then the individual hotel rooms would have). The house and grounds were beautiful, the owner was wonderful to deal with.
