Come and visit the Historic Hamlet of Cragsmoor. Some of the Famous Hudson Valley Artist of the 19th and 20th centuries painted our dramatic mountain and sunset views.
Sit on the deck and watch the hang gliders soar above your head or just enjoy the serenity of the views. A perfect spot for an evening BBQ as you watch the fading sun.
Cragsmoor offers amazing hiking trails at Sams Point or Bear Hill Preserves with the most spectacular views of the Catskills or Shawangunk Mountains and the Hudson Valley. We are 30 minutes from New Paltz, Middletown, Monticello, 50 minutes to Bethel.

We are glad to be able to share our historic home in Cragsmoor NY.
Kathleen or Ruth purchased this house in 1980
Kathleen was great and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thanks again our family and friends truly enjoyed it.
We rent 8-10 homes a year always hoping to feel at home, not just at a house. Kathleen and Ruth's home was just that a HOME! We went to area for family birthday celebration and were not disappointed at all! Kathleen greeted us warmly and shared her home with open arms. The pix on the website don't do home justice.we pulled up with mouths open at the overall beauty. As a family who owns a 100+ year old home,we were very much at home. Don't come looking for modern come if you truly want to be part of a family home for that is what it is, not a rental! We can't thank Kathleen enough for our wonderful weekend!
We stayed here for the graduation at West Point. It took about an hour to get from the house to W.P., but it was wonderful to have this large, beautiful house which allowed for most of our family to stay together rather than at a hotel separately (and it actually cost less then the individual hotel rooms would have). The house and grounds were beautiful, the owner was wonderful to deal with.
