Waterfront Lover's dream come true with this unobstructed 220 degree view of eagles, whales, Camano Island, Harrington Lagoon, & Mt Baker. Outdoor features include cabana with fireplace to stay undercover if the weather doesn't cooperate or a fire pit closer to the water so you can sit under the stars. Sit on the wrap around deck behind the glass railings and watch the sun come up while sipping your morning coffee, drop your boat in the water at the community boat ramp, dig for clams in the tidelands and pick mussels right of the beach, drop a fishing line in the water when the tide is in right off the concrete pier out front. Also, there is excellent dungeness crabbing 100 yards of the shore, or when the tide comes in 'raft' down the channel into the lagoon, excellent sport fishing, beach combing, and much more.
The inside is very versatile. Kids can be upstairs watching a movie on the brand new 50' LCD while the adults mingle downstairs or vice versa. Their is a bedroom and full bathroom downstairs. The downstairs area where the kitchen and dining room are can transform from dining room to bedroom with the convertible bed. The Upstairs Bedroom/Great room has vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows that look right out to the water. It is a big open room that has a door to close off the downstairs for peace and quiet, 4 built in bunk beds and room for multiple inflatable beds/sleeping bags, wet bar (sink and mini fridge), bathroom and entertainment (50' HD TV, DVD/Bluray player etc) area. We have WiFi and we get the basic local channels.

Four brothers own this property. This 'cabin', as we call it, has been in our family since the 50's. We have grown up clamming, crabbing and fishing here for the last 30-35 yrs. We recently took over the property to keep it in the family (now going on its 4th generation) in hopes that our kids and grandkids will love it as much as we do. This is our sanctuary, our home away from home and can't wait to share it with you.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 1957
We absolutely loved this property. Very comfortable decor and furnishings, everything you could possibly need/want is provided. Extremely clean and well maintained. Kids loved it and so did my disabled in-laws who were very happy staying on the bottom floor and even got to come out and enjoy a camp fire outside due to the easy level pathway to and from the house. Only complaint was that the HDMI cable for the dvd player was missing, so no movie night and the air bed provided lost air after about 2 hours...but not big issues as there were plenty of couches to sleep comfortably on. All in all we loved it and plan to re-rent it for a weekend in summer.
The weather worked out perfect. Rainbows, sunshine, wind and rain. A little bit of everything. Thanksgiving evening was great at the outdoor patio with a blazing fire. Thourghly enjoyed our stay
I rented this house for our kids, grandkids and great grandkids for a family memorial on island. The only reason I don’t give five stars is that I read it had two bedrooms. Lots of sleeping space for sure but only one actual bedroom with a door. We took advantage of the cabana and had a warm fire in the evening. And a fenced yard for the toddlers was comforting. I would recommend this house to anyone. Great time had by all!
The weather was perfect. The Eagles came and visited numerous times a day perching on the pilots sometimes two at a time. The neighbors were friendly. Watching the tide roll in then watching it roll away again is a lot more fun than it sounds.
My sister and I brought our families for a long weekend and everyone said they enjoyed the house. The view, the picnic shelter, the extra bedding, games, campfire accessories, and kitchen supplies were all very much appreciated. The only negative I could say is that, although the house is wheelchair accessible, the only television was upstairs so my sister and I ended up spending a lot of time alone downstairs. But, we still had a great time!
We spent a week at the home of the Ross brothers. The house was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Nice beach setting with beautiful views of Mt Baker and the Saratoga Pass.
We sailed in the Whidbey Island Race Week Regatta in Oak Harbor and were able to save money on hotels/motels by staying in a beautiful home, with a great view and beach access.
