serenity on cedar
The cabin was more than we expected. The different levels made it very private for the family to be together.
Everything was provided for cooking and they had a lot of board games for enjoyment.
The cabin was very clean and lake was beautiful.
I will go back and try it out in the summer months as well!
Dear Lee Ann,
Thanks for your positive comments on your visit to Serenity on Cedar. We're looking forward to having you return this summer.
With kind regards,
Perfect family Christmas
We had the most amazing time! Perfect family getaway! Better than described! Will definitely be back! Thanks again!
Other than a few minor issues we had a great stay. Cabin is nice and area is beautiful.
Owners were great and responded quickly to a few issues. Cabin is nice, lake is beautiful. Was way too cold to do much and stayed busy keeping a fire burning. Would recommend this cabin to my friends.
Best vacation at a mountain log cabin that we have had!
The log cabin house was ideally set up for a multi-family vacation. The lower level is really a separate living space with complete kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. The view is spectacular and even though it was mid-November we used the kayaks and canoe each day. There was plenty to do and see in the area. We will definitely return. Carol was very helpful in making sure we had an enjoyable stay.
All was as advertised and all of our expectations were very high and exceeded. Thank you, Carol
this is the second time I have responded. What did you do with the first set of positive
Water crafts the highpoint
Our family reunion in the mountains was here at Serenity on Cedar. There were 9 of us who came together from 5 different states. We were on the beautiful and peaceful lake every day of our 5 day stay, using the provided kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, and row boat (thank you so much Carol!) They were an added benefit of staying at this beautiful, very clean, and roomy log cabin. The path and steps from the house to the lake are very well done, with wooden or rope railings, making it very manageable for the older ones, and out of shape ones. One late night we laid on the dock to watch the shooting stars (I saw my first one!!!) We cooked all our meals there, sometimes using both kitchens. The biggest disappointment was that the dining room table only sat 6 people, which is surprising when the house sleeps 11. When the weather was warm, we all ate outside and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL view. There was no fire pit outside, but a very nice and big fireplace where we had a fire going every night. Yes, the road and driveway was very steep, but we handled it very well. There is plenty of parking (we parked 5 cars and a trailered motorcycle). We SO enjoyed our stay here!
Other attractions are fishing, golfing, exploring waterfalls, whitewater rafting, pontoon or fishing boat rental, snow skiing, gem mining, antique shops, great dining and much more
