This attractively, upgraded 1 bedroom offers a quiet forest view from its balcony, living area and bedroom. The condo features a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom with a deep soaking bath tub, gas fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD, CD Stereo, comfortable living room furniture and dining room seating for 4. The unit has been freshly painted.

The bedroom offers a Queen bed and in the living room a queen sofa bed. Approx 680sqft.

This unit provides all the comforts, and is complimented by a calming decor to enjoy your mountain getaway! Great location so close to it all - village, ski lifts, golf courses, lakes and trails.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

I was more than happy with the location.

The vacation rental was very clean.

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Nothing great about this unit. Everything was outdated, bed was uncomfortable (sits on the floor), sink clogged, and stove/oven doesn't function properly. Oh and the property management was pretty rude and unhelpful the time we forgot our code to the front door.

WE stayed here in November and the unit had a musty smell in the bathroom. We liked it enough we came back anyway and were happy to find the smell completely gone. It is roomy, light and airy. Comfortable and an easy walk to the Upper Village and lifts or you can ski a trail to them.

Unit was roomy, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom smelled musty when we first arrived, but lessened over time with the heat on. The place had hooks for hanging clothes after skiing. The gas fireplace is mostly for show, but pleasant to have. No charge for parking, which was great and they let us leave our car there until we were done skiing the day we left.

Great Experience. We were surprised how good our stay was without being right in the lower Whistler Village. Free shuttle busing was great and meant that we did less walking with ski boots on that when we were in the village. By taking the bus we found we had better accommodation for the same price.

The unit is VERY outdated. Appliances must be from the 80s. Coffee pot worked but leaked every a.m. Forgot wallet ($1000) on bed - when we called back 2 hours later they said they couldn't find it. Hmmmmm. The wifi next to never worked. Multiple times we called front office/contact info and there was no one to answer and didn't receive calls back. I've stayed in far nicer condos in Whistler for less money. Would not stay in this unit again.

My front desk manager is a retired military pilot with a perfect career record and my housekeeper is bonded and has a 30 year unblemished record at hotels including the Chateau Whistler.

Here is the report I got:

" the head housekeeper and I tore the place apart looking for it (wallet), including digging through every garbage can in the building and checking all the laundry bags. I did see the guy out front of the building setting things on the roof of his car while he was opening the door which is why I’m sure the wallet went into a ditch at the first corner he took with any speed."

As for the review you posted, it is uncalled for. That unit has been well taken care of and is clean and in excellent condition. You might have had different expectations, but it was not worthy of your criticisms.

If you think it is outdated, then that applies to most properties in Whistler. Outdated can also be clean and comfortable regardless of age. If you needed immediate service, the front desk is and was open from 8AM to 8PM and there is always someone there. I do not believe that you asked them for a new coffee maker as we have them in reserve if needed. Perhaps you were using the wrong wifi connection and the front desk could have advised you on that issue.

I suggest that you continue to keep in touch with the Whistler RCMP in case the wallet is turned in at some point. Did you report it to them?

Further investigation indicates that when the wallet was reported missing, the guest called the front desk and indicated that it might have been left on a bedside table or in the garage. Had they said that it was on the bed, my staff would not have wasted so much time looki
