This two bedroom 1300 sq ft unit is located in the very desirable PGA West community (Palmer Gate). Beautiful view of near by majestic mountains on one side while the patio view is of the lake. The morning sun is on the patio which makes it very desirable too and out of the sun for afternoon relaxation. Our unit is a lower level, end unit with a 10,000 sq ft grass front yard, and a private driveway. The pool is directly across the street from our driveway or you can lounge at the pool near the lake in the backyard.

This unit is an end-unit with a very large front grass yard. Patio gets morning sun and afternoon. Perfect for having coffee in the morning sun and and a relaxing dinner in the shade in the early evening.
I stayed in this unit for a month. It was very clean when I arrived and the check in procedure is easy. I found the kitchen quite dated although everything did work. The stove is a bit frustrating as there is a 1/2 inch differential from one side of each burner to the other as the drip pans being used don't fit properly consequently everything slides to one side of the pan and doesn't cook evenly.. The fruit trees outside are great and I bought a juicer to use while I was there so had fresh juice each day...mmmmm. The bunk beds in the second bedroom would be fine if you were traveling with kids but not really suitable for other adults as they seem short and it is cramped. The biggest bed is only a double. My big issue and the reason I won't book here again is that during the last week of my stay there were guests in the upstairs condo unit. It was very noisy just with their walking around and toilet flushing etc. plus there was a small child who created additional noise. In fact, if this had been my first week I would probably have tried to find somewhere else to stay. I also found that RGA West is a bit far from almost everywhere you will want to go but traffic is not that congested so a 15 - 20 minute ride is not terrible.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here in this comfortable home away from home. It had all the conveniences of being "home" without any of the distractions! It was well stocked and very cozy and comfortable. Our only complaint was the noisy neighbors above us. There are pools all around the condo and the owners have plenty of pool toys on hand for vacationers' use. There is also a nice variety of board and card games available. For those who drink alcohol, there is quite a selection of that as well. There is a series of adjoining beautiful lakes off of the back patio -complete with waterfalls and geese and ducks that kept us entertained. It is a very quiet, restful, safe and peaceful place. There were plenty of citrus trees to partake of. We brought our bikes and found a great trail along the Santa Rosa Mountains in the Old Village. Thank You so much for a wonderful time!
We have returned to this home for the second year. Each time we stayed for a month and enjoyed it thoroughly. The condo is on the first floor so you can step out on the patio and enjoy a beautiful setting ---green grass, lake and mountains. Appetizers, cocktail hour, and dinner on the patio are a real treat. There are several nearby pools, but who could beat a short walk across the street to take a swim or use the jacuzzi. The property and area are ideal for walking, jogging or biking. People are out all the time. The golf course,waterways, trees, and flowers just draw you to be outdoors. There is an abundance of orange, lemon and grapefruit trees. The pictures of the indoors do not do the unit justice because the kitchen and living room are bright and airy.
We are not golfers, but enjoy tennis. We asked at the tennis center if we could pay a fee for the month to use the courts. That was the only negative. The courts were empty most of the time and the Association could be attracting future members. We just drove into Old Town and used the public courts.
This unit is a great little home away from home.
We stayed in the unit for 3 nights and it is a perfect location. The PGA West development is gorgeous and the pools are heated nicely. Much better than a hotel for either a quick or long term getaway. Development is located within a short drive to nice public tennis courts, and many restaurants and stores.
Great views and hiking trails in the area.

Security Deposit & Cancellation Policy - On the execution of this lease, Lessee deposits with Lessor $400.00, This Security Deposit of $400 is NONREFUNDABLE if you cancel anytime following the signing of this lease. All other fees will be returned to you if you cancel 31 days or greater before the start of your lease. If you cancel 30 days or less before the start of your lease start date an additional cancellation fee of $500 will be required. Once your rental stay is complete at the end of your lease date, it is only then that the Security Deposit is returned to you once the condo is cleared of damage or any Home Owners Association (HOA) fines. The Security Deposit will be refunded less the amount to complete repair or pay HOA fines.
