A fully functioning and spacious kitchen can play host to several cooks or just head outside to use the sizable gas grill.

The home also features an expansive sun deck off the kitchen, giving the visitor a 360- degree view of friends in the living room and outdoor space. A heated pool is the focal point of this spot- perfect for socializing while being able to watch the kids enjoy the water. A large play area features a treehouse and swings near the property’s fire pit, which boasts plenty of seating for evening conversation and marshmallow roasting. Follow the trails through the woods on this 5-acre land for some solitude, or rally friends to play a game of volleyball on the Olympic-sized sand court.

The house is close to several beaches and the Michigan dunes, but is only a short walk to the sand and water at Union Pier. Local eateries and ice cream shops make for the perfect break before heading back to the relaxation and comfort at the Amorini House…

Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Lovely home in a great location. Quiet and private, but close to shopping essentials and lake front. Very fun for a family with a swimming pool, volleyball, trail walking, fire pit and games. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and serving. The grill is close to large outdoor dining table. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Our family really enjoyed this property.

Great weekend. We loved the house!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Amorini House for a guys' weekend with some close friends and cousins. The house was a huge hit and we had a great time even though the weather didn't really cooperate (we were there at the end of April - the very beginning of the rental season). Even without using amenities like the volleyball court or pool, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The open concept kitchen/dining/living room meant that everybody could hang out together the entire weekend even while doing different things. Beds were very comfortable and I slept very well. The place was very clean and well-maintained.

Our group agreed that we would all happily come back. Elena was professional and accommodating throughout. Definitely recommend this property for getaways weekends, vacations, etc.

I asked our older grandkids to list the favorite things about the house and one responded that " it was the most awesome vacation ever!" Our family of 16 (9 adults and seven kids ages 10 months to 11 years) had a fabulous week. Kids were in the pool at least 8 hours a day, huge dinners at the massive dining room table, great kitchen had every item needed for all of our meals, six bedrooms, one pac n play and three newer baths accommodated our entire family and fun volleyball/badminton court was used by all ages. Elena was very responsive to all of our questions..including where to find an urgent care facility for one of the grandkids. Wonderful artwork, decor and fun atmosphere. Would rent it again in a minute!

Great house, property, and pool!

  • 4 of 5

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Amorini House from 8/20-8/27. Our group consisted of three families, specifically 6 adults and 6 children ages 9 months to 3 years. The layout of the house was ideal for kids napping (bring your sound machines!) and retreating to your own space. The owner, Elena, takes obvious pride in her home and her guests. The pool was a huge hit with all and so convenient, especially with the glass doors of the kitchen overlooking the pool deck. The acreage, fire pit, and swingset were nice to have but we did have to fight off a good amount of bugs. The home is definitely set in the woods so come prepared with bug spray and layers.

We ventured to Townline Road Beach about a mile away where we found easy parking each time. This beach was perfect for playing in the sand and wading in (the water was too choppy for little ones). We loved Nani's Café for coffee and egg sandwiches. There's a playground and splash pad next to the New Buffalo Township center that became a daily spot for us.

Some pros/cons of the home and location to note:

Pros- spacious well-decorated home, awesome pool, huge dining table, washer/dryer, several rooms for community hang-outs

Cons/Things to Consider- faucet water gets extremely hot, there's no fence for the pool so kids need to be constantly supervised, not all rooms had great air conditioning, only 1 bathtub in the house, WiFi is basically nonexistent

All in all, we had a great trip and would stay at Amorini House again!

Amorini is the perfect place for a large group. We rented both the main house and the Casa Tica! This place was perfect for a group of three families and grandparents to relax, entertain, swim, campfire, and have a home base as a break from the beach. The ONLY reason not five star is b/c it's not on the beach, but the drive/run/walk is so quick and gives a reason to stop at the local ice cream shop halfway! Will def book again.

Beyond Every Expectation

  • 5 of 5

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed every bit of our experience w/ Elena and renting her gorgeous getaway. We came as a group of 4 generations of women on my mom's side and it was the first time in decades we have all been together at once. The house, grounds, pool, etc. were absolutely immaculate and had anything we could possibly need. This is not your typical rental. It truly feels like "home" as all items are high quality from dishes, to furniture, to the bathroom, you name it! We stayed for 4 days with absolutely no desire to leave while enjoying the grill, heated pool, games in the TV room, and having Grandma teach us how to make her homemade cinnamon rolls in the expansive kitchen. The pool could not be in a better location. We were able to let the kids swim while preparing meals and still keeping an eye on them. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my grandmother, who is in her 80's and there was a bathroom nearby. The upstairs bedrooms were just what we needing for the kids sleeping in and the baby napping while the adults enjoyed being up early and visiting downstairs. With 5 acres, there was plenty of room to explore and appreciate nature. We will undoubtedly be making this location our annual girls getaway! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elena's desire for us to have a wonderful time and how loved her beautiful property is by her and everyone in my family! Elena was exceptional to work with and because of her we made memories that will last a lifetime!
