Clean and comfortable and just what we needed.
We were thrilled when we were able to stay in this property for a second time over the course of a project we had in the Kingman area and that was our first house we stayed in and it was hard to find another place that could compare in value and in comfort.
Clean, nicely furnished, and great for a family.
We enjoyed our stayat this property, as a family of 5. The beds were large and comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels, wash cloths, and bed linens to use. The entire house was nicely furnished, making our stay very comfortable. The back yard, and back patio area were beautiful! We also loved that a pack and play was at the house, and easy to use. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of dishes, and even a few things in the pantryand such. The ability to do laundry was amazing! I highly recommend this property. It was clean, exactly as pictured, and the owners were very attentive to all correspondence.
Wonderful Stay at an Exceptional House
Our group of six adults stayed at the Pebble House from March 21st through April 2 2018. I would give this house a 5 star rating. If you are planning on visiting the Kingman area and need a place to stay I would highly recommend the Pebble House. The house is located in the Valle Vista development about 15 miles east of
Kingman, Arizona. It is a very quiet area situated in the middle of a golf course which we took advantage of a couple of times. The house was exactly what we needed for our stay. It is a three bedroom home so each couple had their own bedroom.
The kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee maker, microwave, a hand mixer, a crock pot, just about every utensil you could think of and a well stocked pantry. When we discovered the coffee maker and hand mixer had problems we emailed the home owners at 7 PM. They responded quickly and dropped off new appliances the next morning. That was very impressive and greatly appreciated. The kitchen also has a very nice island with 4 chairs that allows for a nice area to chat while preparing meals. It also has a dishwasher for easy cleanup after meals.
We hosted a dinner party on Easter Sunday for about 20 family members and there was plenty of room for everyone in attendance.
The living room has a large L-shaped seating are with a large coffee table. The entertainment center includes large flat screen tv with satellite, a WI video system with an assortment of games and a DVD player and selection of movies to enjoy. There is also a variety of family games and a nice choice of books to read if desired.
The covered patio was ideal area to sit and chat, read and enjoy your coffee and other beverages. It has a table with 6 chairs on one end and an additional smaller table and couple of chairs on the other end of the patio. We used the gas grill to prepare a number of meals. They even have an extra propane tank there if needed.
The location is an ideal base location to explore the sites of Route 66. The Grand Canyon National Park is an easy day trip. Laughlin and Las Vegas are both within an hours drive if you enjoy gambling. We made the trip to Laughlin twice.
Thank you so much for your comments. We do strive to make our guests stay and enjoyable as possible, including the extra niceties that we do our best to provide.
Mary K and Gene.
We enjoyed our stay!
It was a good value. It was large and the kitchen and pantry were well stocked with supplies like salt, pepper etc.
Very Homey and comfortable!
We love the Valle Vista community and enjoyed our stay at the Pebble House. The house was a little dark when we first walked in but realized there were large windows and we just need to open the blinds. Bedrooms are good size, bed was very comfortable and loved the pillows. The home is well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen items. It was nice to bbq on the grill and have a washer and dryer to use. It has a beautiful view of the Golf Course across the street. Thank you for everything. We may request to be there again next year. 😊. C. Wilson
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Pebble House. And you are welcome to stay again!
OLD HOUSE, DIRTY, DARK AND DISMAL
The house is an older house and was very dirty, dark and dismal. The pictures are not the same as the ones on line the colors of some of the walls have changed and are darker. Low light to me hides stuff. The walls and ceiling above the breakfast bar are filthy there is dust hanging. The kitchen dim lights, fridge was dirty (had to clean it). The oven hasn’t been cleaned in forever! The condiments in the fridge are outdated and the food in the pantry . I would not encourage any one to eat it, check out the dates. I would not leave food behind and it is not our job to clean things out. As she says on the notes left on the side of the fridge. The furnace ran all the time and you could smell the dust in the air, I doubt there are air filters. The couch had food and crumbs under the cushions.. How ever the master bedroom bed was comfortable but it is a foam topper so the beds are really not memory foam. We had to unfortunately leave after a week we just couldn’t stay because of the dust in the air. I did speak with Mary Kay and e-mailed her several times. I don’t doubt she is a nice person though I had not met her. She did say she returned the deposit and Refunded the money for the nights not stayed. We were very disappointed because we were looking forward to this trip and staying in a home.
We know that you cannot please everyone, every time, but obviously these people look for something negative in everything in their lives and are not happy until they find it, or they imagine something terrible. These renters even complained to our neighbors that it is too brown everywhere (in the Arizona Desert!) and too dark at night (again, in a small town in the Arizona Desert!) And when we cleaned after their stay, somehow the "dirt and cobwebs and crumbs (etc)" were not to be found!
Future renters, please read the other reviews where our guests praise the home and comment that the home is clean, comfortable, and that they had a wonderful stay. We work hard to ensure that the home is always clean and ready for our guests, and yes, it is an older home, but regularly maintained.
As this renter stated, I did refund the unused days of their stay, which I did not need to, according to the rental agreement. And according to the rental agreement we had the right to retain their deposit as well because they reduced their stay dates, but we did not do so. I am disappointed then that after I nicely refunded the deposit and their stay money, they still decided to write such a negative and false review of our home.
