We loved our stay in Rome. The location couldn't have been better. The apartment was so comfortable and just perfect for our needs. If we ever go back we will stay here again. Lucia even had a little tray of goodies she left for us.

Lucia's flat was perfect for our family of 4. We made the reservation the day before using the "Book It Now" option and everything was very smooth. The flat was exactly as advertised and in a perfect location for sight-seeing. The pullout sofa was the easiest and most comfortable I've ever experienced. We recommend whole-heartedly and we would stay again. Thanks!
We were totally charmed by this apartment. It's super clean and efficient, and pretty. The pictures and description are accurate. It is so well maintained that it feels new. I slept on the sofabed and it was very comfortable. Lucia provided excellent service, booking taxis for us from and to the airport, responding to our (very few) messages immediately. She is a great host. The location is superb, at the center of everything and yet very quiet. The best bakery is around the corner, there is an excellent fish restaurant across the alley, and of course Campo Formio is two steps away. We hope to be able to stay in this apartment when we return to Rome. I'm still dreaming about it.
Campo de Fiori is a great location to explore Rome. We could walk everywhere and if we were tired at night, it was only steps away from great restaurants. The apartment is very clean and is tucked away on very quiet street. Our host, Lucia, has thoughtfully planned the apartment so it has everything you need.
Lucia arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport which was fabulous because we didn't sleep on the flight! And, she gave us a parting gift - wonderful lemon cookies. Look no further - book this property.
We contacted Lucia several times in the three months preceding our vacation to Rome. She replied immediately and was so helpful in answering all our questions. She even set up transportation to and from the airport to the apartment! The apartment was tucked away in an interesting part of of old Rome, steps away from the lively Campo de Fiori market. It is furnished beautifully and equipped with everything needed for a week's stay. The kitchen was immaculate and included all cooking essentials, and Lucia had treated us to a few snacks, coffee, and tea. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and well-supplied with body wash, soap, hair dryer, and large fluffy towels. We relaxed after our long days of visiting Roman sites in the air-conditioned living room and slept comfortably in the queen-sized bed. We were glad it was a first floor apartment and enjoyed trying the many nearby cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend apartment "Beatrice" and hope to return soon!!
Very nice apartment for two people. Very clean and Lucia was quick to respond to any questions. Close to all the sites one would be visiting on a first trip to Rome. Coffee shop right around the corner. I would stay here again.
My wife and I loved staying in this apartment. It is on the main floor so it was easy to walk in and out. There was a locked front door to the building and our apartment so we felt secure.
The one-bedroom apartment was nicely furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed and sofa, small desk to work on. The sofa contains a hide-a-bed with sheets that is easy to open and close. The kitchen was well equipped as well so we cooked many meals there. The space in this apartment was used very intelligently and efficiently so it felt large enough to spend our 9 days here. We slept well as it was quiet at night.
Lucia is an excellent communicator and explained everything very well at the start. She was available fo solve any problems (we had none), accommodated our schedule to meet us to return the damage deposit, and booked a taxi to the airport for us.
The apartment is next to Campo de Fiori so most everything important to see is walking distance. For example, Campo de Fiori (2 minutes); Piazza Navonna (5 min), Pantheon (10 min), Trevi Fountain (20 min). We even walked home slowly from Termini station in 75 min.
We would be happy to stay here again if we return to Rome.
Campo de ' Fiori market.
Piazza Campo de ' Fiori.
Opens at 6.00 am and closes at 14.00, everyday (except Sunday).
Located in the heart of the old town, the most picturesque market of Rome is also one of the richest in history.
The name Campo de ' Fiori might suggest a flower market, comes from the Latin Campous Florae, Flora.
Mistress by the great Roman general Pompey, the market has been held here for several centuries. Every morning except Sunday, piazza fills with colourful stalls selling fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and fish.
One or two stalls offer pulses, rice, dried fruit and nuts, while near the fountain, in the square there are flowers stalls.
The main attractions, however, are the huge baskets of broccoli and spinach, or vegetables already cut and ready for the soup, and fresh mixed salads.
In addition to a feast for the palate, are also a pleasure for the eyes. The best delis and bakeries around the square complete the range of products offered and this market becomes the place to make all necessary provisions for a picnic, in summer, if the weather is nice, cool off with your snack on the lawns of one of the many city parks
If it is sunny, you'll catch a few young people and older gentlemen sitting at the base of a statue in the middle of the open space The statue is a brooding, hooded Giordano Bruno - an excommunicated Dominican monk burnt at the stake for heresy on this spot on 17 Feb. 1600. The piazza is used as a marketplace during the day, and party central for college students and tourists at night. When the sky gets dark and the street lamps go on, the Campo de' Fiori fills with people and lovers wander arm in arm in the crowd. Over the buzzing of conversation and the occasional burst of laughter you may hear a young vocalist belt out O Sole Mio at the top of his lungs as change plunks into his accordion case
