BEAUTIFUL SPACIOUS well furnished , Ocean views with decks and patios . This immaculate 2100 sq ft private 3 bed HOME is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to the best of everything. It's like living at a country club : public golf course and community rec center 2 mins away ; and glorious nature is right at your doorstep - marinas, forest mountain hikes, ocean beaches, pristine parks.. Shopping amenities and access to Downtown Vancouver , Stanley Park, Whistler and BC Ferries are just short drives away.

We've been successfully hosting for many years and take pride in offering you a very welcome and delightful stay that meets your expectations.

Our well maintained home has 2 Bedrooms with Queen beds, two full bathrooms , plus the third bed is in the Den. It accommodates 5 guests very comfortably.

Upon entering our southwest facing residence you are greeted by high vaulted ceilings with exposed beam and hardwood floors. The main living room is tastefully furnished with overstuffed couches and chairs, including a large ottoman. Leading off the living room are French doors which open onto the private garden and patio. The dining area comfortably seats 6. The bedrooms have been tastefully decorated with queen sized beds, and decorative linens and drapery. The master bedroom has French doors to the patio. The den has a very comfortable double mattress twin sized day bed.

Our home also has fully equipped kitchen and comes with premium high speed wireless, cable TV and landline. Ample Parking and express Downtown Vancouver bus service three min walk away. In addition, No taxes or cleaning fee..

We truly enjoyed staying here, in this charming old house. Loved the outdoor area with fire pit and great view. We spent several evenings outside by the fire. This place was perfect for us. Not too far (40 min) from Squamish, and only 15 minutes to Vancouver. Whytecliff park nearby, and nice dining in Horseshoe bay, 3 minutes away.

We stayed at Helena's home for 5 days in February. The home is in a beautiful residential area just a few minutes away from Horseshoe Bay. The view from the home is spectacular.

Fantastic Spot!!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay here. It was comfortable, spacious and had a great view. It's a very quiet neighborhood which allows you to enjoy the FOUR different sitting areas outside the house. This house offers you the best of both worlds. It offers peace and quiet, but is just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver when you want to get busy. It was very central to all the places we visited like Capilano, Whistler, Stanley Park. Lots of great restaurants a very short drive away.

The other very important factor is that the owner is an absolute delight. She is very helpful, accommodating and responds quickly to requests. It made the whole event very easy for us.

Should we be going back to Vancouver again we won't bother looking for any other place as we would rent this house again.

Very enjoyable

We stayed for two weeks with my husband, two kids (10 and 6 years old) and my mother-in-law. The house was great! The beds were comfortable. The house was very well equiped. The area was very quite and we enjoyed sitting mostly outside enjoying the sunsets, the views, and all the different birds that flew in the garden, including several hummingbirds. The house was very airy and bright. Helene gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive to our needs. The house is in a good location close to the ferries and just a walk away from Horseshoe Bay and very easy to get to the highway to go to either Whistler or main part of Vancouver. Yet you are away from the hustle and bustle.

Great vacation rental for the whole family :)

We are a family of 4 who needed a rental while our home was undergoing renovations and we were lucky to have found this beautiful gem. We were very impressed with the gorgeous views from the property. The home is warm and very cozy with ample space for us all. I would recommend all who want a refreshing and peaceful stay to rent this home. Helena is a gracious host who goes out of her way to make you feel taken care of and at home. The home is situated near the Horseshoe Bay ferries and there are restaurants and places to eat. The only issue I would bring up is the lack of storage space for clothes and food. Because you are renting a lived in home, the is very little storage room to unpack into. The cozy stay and amazing views make up for lack of space to unpack into. If you are as lucky as we were, you may even be visited by a family of friendly raccoons.

Helena's home was the perfect place to stay while visiting Vancouver

I grew up in West Van but am now based in the UK and my husband and I and our 3 children (11,13 & 14) stayed in Helena's home on holiday for two weeks. The house is very spacious, clean and airy and even prettier than the photos. There is a lot of natural light from several large windows which also allow an amazing view of Bowen Island. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the showers are great and the beds are very comfortable. Helena was really welcoming, helpful and accommodating and I really cannot fault anything. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood near the golf course and the area is perfect for running and cycling. It is also an ideal base for getting to the BC Ferries, Squamish, or Whistler and it is only a 15min drive to Dundarave/Ambleside. I recommend this house for anyone who wants a relaxing and comfortable holiday and the chance to explore the North Shore. I truly felt at home in Helena's house.

Incredible views and AMAZING stay!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time here! There is access to horseshoe bay in a 3 minute drive as well as many hikes and great restaurants close by. The property and home was fantastic and the photos don't do it justice, as the views from the deck and porch are INCREDIBLE! We were a group of 6 and would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in West Vancouver. I can't wait to go back, thank you Helena!!!

Our home is surrounded by hikes, ocean and beaches . A full 9 hole public golf course is a 5 mins drive away. We are also 15 mins away from Cypress a local mountain ski-hill that was used in the Olympics. This mountain also has hiking in summer, downhill, cross country tubing, sledding, snowshoeing.

We are also 5 mins drive from a shopping plaza with a Safeway , drugstore, butcher shop, fish market , clothing stores , bank , health food store restaurants etc

We are also a five minute drive to Whytecliff Park - an ocean park with access to scuba diving , swimming , picnicing.

Horseshoe Bay village and BC Ferry very short drive or 10 min walk . The Village has grocery stores , coffee shops, bakery , park , clothing store etc

In addition there is the Gleneagles community centre net to the public golf course with weight rooms, exercise classes etc
