Overview

Bokeelia House Rental Photos and Description

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Take a step back from the hectic pace of everyday life. Relax in comfort in our beautiful home in one of the few remaining coastal areas with the atmosphere of 'Old Florida' . Take a dip in our private screened pool, or choose from many different activities. Better yet, just kick back and let the tension drain away.

The Charlotte Harbor area is one of the best inshore fishing areas to be found for Snook, Redfish, Trout, and of course Tarpon. (Boca Grande Pass is only minutes away!) The 10,000 lbs. boat lift makes it easy to use your boat, and maybe catch some dinner! In addition to fishing, you can enjoy bird watching, kayaking, golf, arts and crafts, shopping, bicycling, restaurants, and more! If you don't have a boat, you can catch fish right from the dock, or take our canoe and explore Jugg Creek.

You will fall in love with this area, just as we did, so give us a call!

Excellent vacation home

  • 5 of 5

Had a great vacation with friends and family. Fishing was fantastic, beautiful area for boat riding, spotting Dolphins, and enjoying the sunset. Wife enjoyed the art galleries on the island and even took some art classes. The pool was an added bonus. Great to relax and cool off after fishing each day. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect fishing getaway!

  • 4 of 5

This house was in a great location for fishing - just as described. We had a great time fishing, swimming, and boating in the harbor and the gulf! The boat lift was super convenient and the boat ramp is at the next street over (remember to bring cash for the pay box there- $5). You can get fresh bait shrimp right around the corner at Jug Creek Marina but get there early! The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, etc. The pool was very cold since it's in the shade most of the day, and the pool deck is downstairs from the living area through the basement/garage, so we didn't use it much, but at this price, the pool was a bonus. FYI- It is kind of isolated and there's not a lot of stuff to do in the immediate area, but we were there to fish and were on the water most days. The Tarpon Lodge restaurant on the island is VERY good, and Matlacha is about 15 minutes away and has shops, galleries, and restaurants, with a Keys kind of atmosphere. Great vacation! Thanks, Cindy!

Felt right at home here. The boat lift was a huge help as we had issues with our boat and being able to get under it was quite nice!! Our kids LOVED the pool and we look forward to coming back next year

Nice house. Clean! Owners were very nice. We didn't have the best weather during our stay, but we still had fun. We would stay again.
