My family and I have been staying in the beach house for years - both in the summer and in the winter. The home is located directly on the beach with impeccable views throughout. Everything one could need is at the home for all ages - beach bikes, rubber boots, sand toys, pack'n'plays, a highchair, video games, dvd and music players, all needed kitchen items and a ping pong table! Over the years we have watched our children grow up on the beach and it's been an absolute delight. We often rent out both the Sunset Beach House and the Bungalow for larger family gettogethers and we wouldn't choose to stay elsewhere. Thank you Sunset Beach House for yet another round of beautiful memories this December! We'll be back..
our family enjoyed a week's stay at this lovely beach home. it was plenty roomy for our extended family of eight and the location could not have been better with 180 degree views of the ocean everyday from the deck and just minutes from the sandy shore. The bikes were great fun on the beach and you could watch the sun go down from the cozy hot tub. All amenities in the house were plentiful from kitchen to linens. if you are looking for a great beach vacation venue, this is the place!
This property is perfect for anyone traveling with multiple adults and kids. We had 6 adults in our party and 7 kids. There was plenty of room for each couple to have their own room and the kids were able to find places throughout the house. There is one bedroom with bunkbeds and a living room downstairs with pull out couch. There are also multiple portable mats to use for sleeping whereever one finds space. So, there was plenty of space for the kids to sleep and the adults to have comfort and privacy. The best thing about this property, besides the proximity to the beach, which is absolutely ideal, is that there are four bathrooms. So, even though we had a gaggle of people, there was no issue with having bathroom availability when needed. The only negative that I can think of with this property was in the kitchen....and this is extremely minor; the cupboards are a tad sticky around the knobs from use. It would be great if there was a deep clean on those, but honestly this is the ONLY small thing I can complain about. There is ample space here, beautiful views and a wonderful outdoor area for the kids to run around in. We have already booked our 2017 trip and are looking forward to it. This place is just perfect.
We loved our stay in Moclips! The location was perfect for razor clamming, having kids on the beach, and just gazing at the ocean. Relatively well-equipped kitchen for a rental, too. We found it perfect for 3 families with kids.
We had a fabulous stay. We have been taking this sort of family holiday with our adult children and growing number of grandchildren for the past 10 years in various beach locations. Your house is by far the best accommodation. There was room for everyone and a place for the kids to hang out…not to mention the adult ping pong tournament. The kitchen was so well appointed and it made cooking meals a dream. We loved all the windows and the light they provided.
And we had weather! Major rain and wind storms. But also glorious sunny days as well. Saturday was unbelievably mild for the opening of clam season. It was fun to watch the action in front of the house.
And of course the magical fort and zip line built by your neighbor. The children had a wonderful time playing on it under his guidance.
We did stop by Humdingers on the way back as recommended..and you are right…the best milkshakes ever!
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to say at your wonderful beach home. Awesome.
Six of us rented this house over Christmas. The views from the house and ease of beach access were even better than we'd hoped from the photos. We enjoyed watching the ocean and beach from the main living level, the kitchen had plenty of room for several of us to cook meals together while everyone else enjoyed the comfortable great-room. The large main-floor master was wonderful. It was very cold when we were there and we were all adults so we didn't take advantage of some of the outdoor amenities like the big deck, bicycles, outdoor shower, or the rec-room garage conversion. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. There had been an area power outage the day before we arrived, but the local contact and property manager both responded to our questions right away, even though it was early evening on Christmas Eve - very nice!
