My name is Brandon Mullenberg and this is unit Konea 112 at Honua Kai. My cancellation policy is incorrectly stated as no refund. Please see my description below for my cancellation refund policy.

NEW: This unit now features a queen plus size comfort sleeper living room sofa bed. This luxurious sleeper sofa has solid platforms that provide even support with no bars, no springs, and no sagging and features a full 80" length of sleeping surface. Our sleeper sofa is more comfortable, longer, and 6" wider than the standard Honua Kai sofa bed. So now all our guests, regardless of where they sleep, can rest comfortably.

ABOUT THIS CONDO. This is a 915 sq. ft. (plus 300 sq. ft. Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR two (2) bedroom condominium in the Honua Kai Konea Tower.

This unit features many owner upgrades and offerings over other units such as: beautiful wood tile flooring, keyed lanai door, a 65" 4k wall mounted living room smart TV, Amazon Echo with Spotify music, a vitamix blender, upgraded shower heads, iHome alarm clocks, bathroom dryer towel rack, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, a pack n play with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

Only the Ground Floor units at Honua Kai offer tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. The lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the mountain and resort and it has a private relaxing Koi pond off the lanai. My unit is conveniently located in the middle of the resort, within just a few steps to the Konea interior court yard or a quick close 1-2 minute walk to the resort pools and hot tubs. Our room is also close to the fitness center.

This unit features a King Bed in the Master, Queen Bed in the Den converted to bedroom, and a Queen Plus size sofa sleeper in the living, and is perfect for up to 6. Each bedroom and living have their own HD flat screen TV's and cable. The living includes a Blu-Ray DVD, plus the TV supports Amazon Prime, and Netflix. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

I grew up and we currently live in Seattle, WA. My wife grew up in the Czech Republic. We have 3 little ones. A handsome 7 year old boy, a beautiful 6 year old girl, and our youngest boy is 3 years old. Our favorite getaway spot is Maui and Honua Kai.

Why Brandon Mullenberg chose Maui

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

All my units feature many added benefits, such as:

Perfect for family of three

My husband and I stayed in this unit for a week with our twenty six month old, and it was perfect. Very nice unit, and we used the Amazon Alexa to listen to Hawaiian music and smart TV to watch all of our toddler's favorite shows on Netflix while we were there. Made smoothies every day with the Vitamix as well! Short walk to the pools, very quiet for toddler naps and bedtimes, and the lanai was a great place for our son to run around. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property, great for families

We've stayed previously in another unit at Honua Kai, so we knew we liked the overall property, which has great pools, Duke's, a nice beach, etc. But this unit is particularly awesome, and the owner is very organized so everything was extremely easy and smooth. It was great for our trip with two small children. The sound isolation was very good, we never heard anything from above, and there is no adjacent neighbor on either side (one side is a hallway, other side is the fitness center). The bedroom doors also insulated well, so the kids could sleep soundly while we used the living room or lanai. First floor location was great for avoiding elevator trips, and the back lanai is amazing and very private in this particular unit.

We have stayed at the Honua Kai several times before and we think it's one of the premier locations on Kaanapali beach. This was our first time in this unit. We stayed for 12 nights and we could not have been happier with the quality of the accommodation or the level of customer service. The suite is clean, spacious and modern. It had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the small garden area off the lanai - we spent many evenings sitting outside. Brandon and Monty are very communicative and clear with the process and instructions and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend this unit, we will definitely rent this unit again!

Perfect spot for our family holiday!

We absolutely loved staying at Konea Unit 112 over our spring break! It was perfect for our family of five (two teenage daughters and a young son). There was plenty of room for all of us. The unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked (other guests had left basic spices etc which was great). For everything else, the Times Market store was just a short walk across the street away or we could just pop over to the "General Store" in the lobby of our place and pick up what we needed. The lanai area of the unit was very private and surrounded by greenery and even a pond, and the back "yard" (lead out to a HUGE grassy area) was perfect for my son to play (quite a few kids go throw or kick the ball around so it's also a great way for the kids to meet some new friends!). The lanai had a huge table, good for entertaining, as well as two comfy lounge chairs which were perfect to sit in and enjoy a quiet morning coffee watching the sun rise over the mountains. Out back also had a pathway which leads right to the pool area and beach - so convenient! The kids could run in and out with no elevator to hassle with. Being that this unit has no units on either side, it was extremely quiet. The gym is next door, but we heard no sounds at all from that.

This condo is definitely one to book if your looking for a quiet and private place which all has the convenience of being super close to the beach, restaurant, and stores.

It was wonderful working with Brandon the owner and Monty the caretaker as well. We were given clear instructions and directions and really felt we had everything taken care of even before we arrived. A box of Hawaiian chocolates greeted us at our arrival, and both Monty and Brandon made sure we had settled in ok. Brandon also supplies all the beach gear you will need (except for snorkels but those are kind of individual and are available everywhere - also across the street at the stores!) including a cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs, large towels and sand toys. For those with smaller kids there are even life jackets and floaties for the pool.

The resort itself is really amazing. We were impressed with the super friendly staff, the incredibly clean resort, the convenience of the close by stores and restaurants, and the central location on the "quiet" side of Kaanapali.

We had a perfect vacation and would definitely stay in this unit again, and recommend it to all our friends!

Beautiful suite and resort! Awesome for young families!

I was extremely impressed with how organized and professional Brandon was to deal with. It was my first time using VRBO but Brandon's prompt and very detailed responses put my mind at ease and made the booking process a breeze. The condo itself is comfortable, clean, well stocked and very high end. Netflix and the Bluetooth speaker are awesome bonuses! Monty was also great to deal with and quick to respond. Thanks for the wonderful stay... We hope to come back again one day! :)

Great Family Vacation!

We spent a wonderful five nights at Honua Kai. The condo is just as pictured and very comfortable for the five of us. Monty met us on time and we were allowed into the condo early - thank you! The kids loved the pools and slide. The adults appreciated the great poolside food and drink service. The condo is well situated with easy access to many great beaches, shops and restaurants.
