2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom (Sleeps 4)
Dave and Maura own multiple lakefront rentals in the area. Maura's family has had a family camp in the area for over 60 years. We love sharing this spot with guests, and do get pretty booked up year round, many are repeat guests (one has stayed with us 7 times so far!).
Why Maura chose Piseco
Privacy, SPECTACULAR view from inside and outside, really cute cabin. Great experience in any weather, be it rain, snow or sunshine.
What makes this Cabin unique
Lots of windows. View looks out at water and nature, no other houses. Lots of wildlife spotting here, we supply spotting scope and binoculars.

We will definitely be going back!
You will not be disappointed! This place exceeded our expectations. Everything from the owners replying back quickly to the amazing views around the lake. We canoed the lake with such ease, we hiked trails and saw waterfalls, we enjoyed the starry night and loved the peace and tranquility this place offers. Maura really makes you feel at home. We can’t stop saying great things about this place to our friends and family. We will definitely be returning here to make more memories.
Great ADK Experience
Property is well maintained and owner obviously cares about the rental. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation, whether you want to be active or lazy.
Peaceful and serene vacation home.
We enjoyed staying at Camp Stardust. It was the only cabin on the Piseco Lake Outlet. There was no boat traffic, extremely calm water, and no noise, except for the birds. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including multiple kayaks and a canoe. If you took the kayak to the right of the cabin and under the bridge you would end up on Piseco Lake. (10 min) If you went left for aprox. 35 min. you would end up at a remote and uninhabited lake. The owner of the property checked in with us to make sure everything was good. They also made sure they left detailed instructions about everything from recycling, to restaurants, to best places to hike. I think anyone would enjoy staying here!!
We had a lovely time staying at Camp Stardust. It was a truly relaxing trip surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Hope to be back soon!
A Columbus Day weekend provided peak foliage in the Adirondacks and the sunshine gave us a glimpse of the natural splendor, Maura and David provided the rest with this spectacular home.
A highlight for us was taking the kayaks down the outlet on Sunday afternoon. The entire outlet feels undisturbed as we could see only two camps on the shore. The clouds that we left the boathouse under broke apart and the sun dipped below the clouds and set the fall foliage on fire. What a sight for Carol and me. The birds on the water were very entertaining as well.
Thanks for sharing this lovely home Maura and David.
Beautiful place to stay
The cabin and grounds were a beautiful place for us to spend a few days. Everything inside and out was clean, the kitchen had every utensil/item that could be remotely necessary, and the boat house was fully stocked as advertised (and also, extremely clean for an outdoor building). In the event that you got bored (somehow), the entire cabin is lined with books—a perfect, peaceful way to spend a few hours. It rally was a great place to get away and reset for a few days.
For hundreds of years the Adirondacks has been a destination location. Set in the Southern portion of the 6 million acre Adirondack Park, located in Hamilton County, Piseco is surrounded by beautiful mountains and pristine lakes.
Some of the most picturesque flat water and white water kayaking and canoeing can be found in this region. Waterfalls, stunning hikes with views, white water rafting, fishing and hunting are popular activities. The lakes are not crowded in the least, bring your boat and enjoy water sports.
This area is infamous for it's well maintained snowmobiling trails that go for hundreds of miles, all the way to Canada. Local rentals available.
