Walk to Plaza and Canyon - Private & Comfortable; Perfect for family and friends

A cute quirky Santa Fe spot super close to downtown Santa Fe and the mountains! Big back yard that would be wonderful for outdoor get together in warmer weather (we visited over Thanksgiving)

The house was comfortable and spacious for our family and friends to visit. The two back bedrooms that were not the master bedroom did not have working heater vents at the time of our visit. Because we have a 2 year old that sleeps with the door closed, his room was frigid each morning and he woke early to let us know. There was also a door with no lock or latch other than a simple door knob right next to the bedrooms that was a steep narrow staircase down to a basement with some nails sticking out of the carpeting on the stairs!! This was quite alarming for us as again we have a two year old and were not told of any open door to stairs. We think that should have been mentioned and additionally should have an above child level latch or lock because you allow people with children to stay there............it could have been a bad accident if our son had found the door before we did. Otherwise the house was comfortable and in a great location!! The owners are right next door on the hill and very friendly. We would definetly recommend this property to stay for a trip to Santa Fe!!

The owners of this very nice home in Santa Fe do not send guests entry codes until just before arrival. They requested that we call an hour before arriving, which we did. When we couldn't connect by phone, I sent texts and emails telling them our time of arrival. There was no one to meet us when we arrived at the rental about 6 pm. It took over an hour before the entry codes were sent, and this was only after calling VRBO after a series of confusing texts from the owners asking which rental we had reserved, and texting they couldn't reply to our questions at that time. We were very concerned that we might not have a place to stay that night. I've rented many homes through VRBO and have never had a problem like this.

The owners told us the next morning that phone reception is spotty near and within the city of Santa Fe. Considering this the owners should provide entry codes few days prior to arrival, or someone should meet guests upon arrival at the property.

House was great and back yard/ outside living area was spectacular! We did yoga outside every morning. Easy walk to downtown and the plaza.

Easy walk to the Plaza and other Santa Fe attractions, located on a ridge that provided beautiful sunset views over the mountains from the front porch. The back patio area was large and provided a relaxing area to enjoy the Santa Fe weather. The house is large and comfortable and well furnished. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, both in person and via the helpful materials and maps that are provided in a convenient binder. We highly recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again.

The property is ultra convenient to our primary goal which was skiing. It's at the base of the mountain road just before you get in to town. It's also just a short walk to downtown for the ones that didn't want to ski. Downtown has a lot of good restaurants but parking is a premium so walking is the best option if you have a large vehicle. The owners are near by and nice friendly people. They were responsive and accommodating to our needs. Towel warmers in the bathroom were a plus. If planning to cook your own meals, renters should plan to provide all consumables in terms of food and condiments. Kitchen is stocked with cookware, tableware and cleaning supplies only. Location sealed the deal for us and we will try to get this spot for our next ski trip to SF.
