We had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids visiting Yellowstone for 4 days. Besides the Master BR, the bedrooms are so tiny you can barely fit your luggage in there. I had to balance mine on the nightstand and my husband had to put his in the hallway. Also the bedding is very old and doesn't make you feel comfortable sleeping on it. The pillows were super thin and stained. A lot of the lightbulbs were burned out as well so it was dimly lit. The kitchen had all the tools we needed and the bathrooms were updated.
First let me say that we had a great time for the first 4 days of our vacation even though when we arrived there, there were not enough towels for everyone, there were wet sheets in the dryer and after calling someone we were told she would bring towels by at 11 the next morning, not very helpful to people who had been on the road for 8 hours. Also when we went to turn the fireplace on we found the pilot light had been turned off and there was a warning posted saying to make sure it was turned to pilot not to off because starting it was very tricky. We never got to use it even though the temperatures reached the low 30's on more than one occasion. The dryer upstairs isn't vented outside so the upstairs will heat up like an oven. Lamps by the bed were broken and patched back together. The DVD machine didn't work, there was a board broken on the staircase wall and the sheets were awful worn. We paid a lot of money per night and I asked for some kind of compensation for our trouble with the water, the owner never even responded. I guess that's the way things are done now.
Our 2 families stayed three nights here and enjoyed it very much. We only had a couple of minor complaints. The bed linens and pillows were very old and not fresh. Also the wifi is in and out if that is important to you. On the plus side, we were grilling burgers on the back porch the first night and a moose walked through the yard!! I asked 2 questions to the managers Kate and John and were referred to the Internet (which was sketchy!). Overall this is a great location to Yellowstone and a very cozy cabin.
Our group of 12 loved the cabin! It was large enough for us all and it had easy access to walking, xc skiing & snowmobiling. Great location- not far from town and in the woods. We had a great time building an igloo and sledding path in the front yard. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic house we had a great time.
Snowmobiling was so much fun we had the snowmobiles delivered to the house and right out front was the trail that connects you to miles and miles of beautiful trails.
The house was clean , decorated very nice and well stocked with everything you would need.
We would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the west Yellowstone area.
Great location - close to Yellowstone NP and also Idaho. Lots of things to do nearby - horseback riding, rodeos, white-water rafting, ziplining, lakes for kayaking and fishing. Enjoyed the large house for our family vacation. There were 10 of us, from kids to grandparents. We liked the large kitchen and dining room. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Having laundry rooms on both floors was great. Would definitely recommend this house for a vacation in the Yellowstone area.
