Aloha and welcome to our retreat in Wailea, Maui, the heart of paradise. No effort has been spared to pamper you and make your stay in our newly renovated vacation home a delightful experience. Our stunning 1200+ square foot condominium has been tastefully remodeled, with new tile, paint, appliances, and casually elegant furniture selected piece by piece for beauty, comfort, and island style.

We are constantly updating and improving even though we receive 5 star reviews from our guests. The guest bathroom has been fully remodeled. We also tiled the Master Bathroom En-Suite area and removed the wall to to wall carpet. In the month of May 2015, the pool area of The Palms at Wailea was upgraded to tile.

Another recent upgrade is our free WiFi service. We realized that the current download speeds were not sufficient for streaming, so we upgraded to a faster speed. The feedback from our guests says they appreciate us paying for this upgrade to the standard service.

New for 2016: Brand new stove/microwave wall unit!

The spacious floor plan and numerous windows create a bright and airy ambiance. The dining and living rooms both open to the generous ground-floor double lanai, blurring the distinction between the charming interior and the tropical beauty just outside. The convenient, welcoming layout feels more like a vacation home than a rental, featuring Tommy Bahama furnishings, a Vera Wang mattress on the California-King master bed, Bosch and Cuisinart appliances, Henckels knives, teak outdoor dining furniture (with seating for 6), a 42-inch flat screen TV with cable service, Harman Kardon blue-ray disc player and stereo, wireless internet—even the queen-size sofa bed has been upgraded with a memory foam mattress. The master bedroom has air conditioning, and the second bedroom has two twin beds that can be jointed into a single king. In addition there is a queen sized inflatable Aerobed available.

The kitchen is well appointed with dinner service for eight, myriad kitchen gadgets, and additional appliances like a blender and coffee grinder—so that you may enjoy the full range of Hawaii’s favorite beverages. You will also find a full set of Calphalon cookware and a variety of spices in our pantry, in case you decide to stay in for dinner and grill a fresh-caught mahi-mahi on the tiled lanai’s new barbecue.

The fifteen acres of open, beautifully landscaped grounds at the Palms surround newly tiled (May 2015) whale shaped salt-water pool & Jacuzzi with an amazing ocean view. Our unit has a convenient shortcut path to the pool. A clubhouse above the pool area features a covered outdoor lounge area complete with a refrigerator, tables/chairs, restrooms & a covered library area with wireless internet access, and there is an activity desk available to help you plan your days on Maui.

In addition, our vacation home is stocked with everything you might need for a day at the ocean—towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and even a wheeled cart to tote it all to and from the beach. Keawakapu Beach, one of our favorites in all of Maui, is only a 10-minute stroll (or 5-minute drive) away. Don't worry about forgetting your condo keys - we provide you with a private code that allows keyless access.

In addition to its luxurious amenities and beautiful grounds, the Palms at Wailea offers visitors convenience to all that Maui has to offer. Only 16 miles from Kahului Airport, the Palms is only a short drive away from the supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, and ice cream shops of Kihei. The upscale Shops at Wailea are within walking distance, as is the famed “Wailea Beach Walk,” a favorite running or strolling route through the oceanfront grounds of Wailea’s resorts.

We loved our stay here and would love to stay here again. We made use of the kitchen and the BBQ. It was nice to not have to eat out all of the time. Location was great-we walked to get coffee at the shops down the road. We also loved the pool after we hit the beach. Hope to be back soon.

A pleasant, comfortable stay

Our family of five really enjoyed our two weeks at a very nice unit. Because it's located about "15 minutes" of walking distance from the water, our family has taken many memorable walks after dinner from the unit to the sand, then along the Wailea beach path to take in colorful sunsets. We particularly loved the Fourth of July on the "Kapu" beach, watching neighborhood fireworks happening right on the sand.

The well maintained kitchen and BBQ facilitated dinners as well as other meals we enjoyed on the lanai throughout our stay with family and friends. In fact, we were so fond with the lanai meals, we didn't even use the inside dining table once.

Our teenagers really appreciated the high-speed WIFI for video downloads, while our ten year-old glued his eyes to the cable cartoons for a good chunk of time.

Thankful were the children for the boogie boards and us parents for the five- to ten-minute drives to so many sandy beaches for the calm morning frolicking and the afternoon waves.

Thanks Erin for the welcoming basket and a pleasant, comfortable place to stay.

A family of four dream vacation home!

It was the perfect home away from home to stay at. The picture are awesome but it was until we got there we knew we were doing this in style. I fell in love with the Tommy Bahamas furniture in the living room. I had everything to cook with, pots and pans, dinner were, including spices, not that i did, but it was nice to know I could have. The sliding doors made the views from the living room and master bedroom so much amazing. The grounds are so plush, laying outside on the lounge chairs made us rethink if we should have made our stay longer....my kids were happy to find all the beach chairs, buggy board and beach towels available to us. The bathrooms are so big and spacious and included amenities such as shampoo, body lotion and even aloe vera (which came in handy!). My husband liked that it was so close to several world class golf courses, and I loved that shops and grocery stores are centrally located. The sunset views from the pool were gorgeous too!. This is home we definitely plan to come back too!

Palms at Wailea - pleasant property

This is a very nice property and well looked after. We had a few minor issues -one with the clothes dryer. It is a very small dryer unit; clothes and towels especially, took forever to dry. The dryer is either too small to accommodate bath towels to be dried in a timely manner, or possibly it needs a replacement of the drying element. The unit is well stocked and a few items (condiments) in refrigerator was a nice touch. Erin is on top of the management aspect and makes herself available if needed for any issues. Good proximity to pool. The patio was great to have our BBQ s and lovely in the evening to sit and enjoy dinner at the spacious teak table and chairs. Thanks Erin for a great stay and would definitely rent this unit again.

Owner's Response: We purchased this Bosch washer/dryer for its' reputation and energy efficiency. Unfortunately, the unit has been very slow to dry clothes and has already had several high cost repairs. At this point, we have decided to replace the appliances, and have a brand new washer/dryer on order. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Outstanding

Absolutely no complaints Erin was a pleasure to deal with and the fact that she only lives a few minutes away made it really handy if we needed anything. We've stayed in many units at the Palms over the years and this was one of the best. This is a clean unit with a well stocked kitchen. The unit came with beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards all in very good condition. The patio has a beautiful teak table with a great barbecue. We are a family of 4 with two teenaged boys and everyone enjoyed their time at this unit. Looking forward to returning at the end of this year.

Great location! Clean, updated unit.

This is a lovely quiet unit at The Palms. The unit was very clean and has a nice new tiled guest bathroom shower. Erin was great to deal with and very helpful before the stay. There was even a nice little gift basket with local hawaiian treats upon arrival!

Very well-equipped unit with plenty of beach chairs, body boards, pool noodles, coolers and all you need for the beach! As well, the unit provided spices, condiments and lots of little basics that would otherwise have to be purchased. One of the best units we have stayed at. We love the Palms' location. The pool is very nice and newly renovated, and the grounds are spacious and great for the kids to run around on the grass.
