This location is ideal if you want easy access to Branson shows and shopping without the boxed-in feeling of a condo. This single-family home, built in 2005, is a two-level cottage in a neighborhood with plenty of trees, wildlife, and quiet. It has lots of decks and windows so you can enjoy the natural setting. And it’s convenient to all that Branson has to offer. Three miles to College of the Ozarks, three miles to State Park Marina, 5.6 miles to the Branson strip, and eleven miles to Branson Airport. All on roads well-isolated from traffic on the strip. The home is well lit, and well-furnished. It is maintained by the owner. Amenities include a queen-sized bed, two twin beds, gas fireplace, bubble-jet tub, separate shower, five TV's including a 42' plasma TV (including cable channels), and wireless Internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped. Windows, skylights, and French doors invite the outside in. With the master bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom on the lower level, the house is well suited for guests who want two separate living and sleeping areas with shared kitchen space.
Active families, perhaps including pets, should enjoy staying here. Due to the natural setting, the home is not suitable for people who cannot comfortably walk a few steps or uneven ground. French doors from the upper-level living room and master bedroom open to the “morning deck” with a small table and seating for two. This deck faces east – perfect for enjoying the sunrise with morning coffee. It’s also a pleasant area to comfortably gaze at the stars before bedtime. When the weather is right, you can see fog rising off the creek just beyond the trees backing the property. Another set of French doors open from the upper-level dining room to a “tree house deck”. This south-facing deck offers relaxing, shaded outside dining for up to six people. Off the kitchen, a west-facing, covered, front porch provides a swing for two and seating for five around fire pots in the front yard. This area is mostly shaded with tall trees and old hanging grape vines – perfect for enjoying a cool breeze and glass of wine while dinner is cooking on the grill. This area is the front yard, but traffic is very light, so you can relax quietly with only the sound of the water running through the old iron pump into the goldfish/lily pool or the breeze blowing through the tall pines across the road. The lower-level family room opens to a covered deck that’s perfect for a nap in the hammock. This deck is also ideal for enjoying a quiet visit while resting in one of the two rocking chairs.
The front yard is canopied with oaks, hanging grape vines, and a weeping willow tree. There are no sidewalks and the lawn is not manicured – the entries to the house include bridges, paths, and about 5 steps so bring your comfy walking shoes. The graveled parking area is entered by a short driveway. The parking area has enough space for an RV, but RV utility connections are not currently available. An Indian nutting stone, tomahawk, arrowheads and chips have been found around the back ridge, so keep your eyes open when you are out walking. If you bring your children, there is a private play set and tree swing out back. If you have a pet, there are natural and wooded areas for walking.

This was a very nice place to stay. If you are unable to do stairs or have trouble walking on ground that isn't flat, then this place isn't for you. Very beautiful and cozy. Love the kitchen, the fire pit, all the comfortable seating and the peacefulness. My only complaint is we needed more vacation time. Also, Elaine was great to work with. I appreciate that she doesn't have any hidden fees in the pricing!

The house was so serene and pretty ticked into the trees. I loved all the decks and walkways on the house. The house is even nicer in person. Our check in process was simple and flawless. The house is so cozy and comfortable. It was wonderful to let the kids have their own space on the lower level while my husband and I stayed on the upper level. The master bathroom is very nice and we loved the shower. The location was perfect. Far enough away from the traffic of the strip, but still close enough to get there easily.
The best part of the whole experience was working with Elaine. She was so nice and accommodating. I have never had a better host. We were also able to bring our dog with us. Thank you Elaine!!
Nice home that is well supplied with just about everything but food, great tub in master bath for aching muscles after a long day. Away from the crowd but close enough for all the action. Elaine was great to rent from.
We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The house was very comfortable. We stay in a lot of vacation homes and this one was definitely the best stocked kitchen we have seen, there was everything you needed! We used the fire pit and really enjoyed making smores and just sitting around talking. We will definitely be staying with Elaine again on our next trip!
