We LOVED staying in this carriage house! It was the perfect location, perfect ambience for staying in such an historic area, and even though close to everything, very quiet. It was actually easier to walk to/from the house; we kept missing it in the car because it's so tucked away!
The house itself had everything you could need for a short vacation and was very comfortable. Loved the little courtyard for morning coffee and having a dedicated parking space was key.
Management company we booked through was great as well. Very responsive, accommodating (we had to bring our two children with us at the last minute, which technically put us over the guest limit), and all details were well-accounted for. And our children loved staying there as well, which is saying a lot!
We would definitely love to stay there again next time we visit Savannah, and I've already recommended the house to others.

Enjoyed celebrating our 30th anniversary this past week. The Carriage house is close to Columbia Square and a few blocks from the River Front, great location. Enjoyed riding our bikes to see all the squares, recommend a tour to help understand the layout many options available. Many restaurants in the area from casual to elegant. The house is adorable perfect for a couple. The top of the stairs can be a little tricky, but perfectly safe to navigate easily. The owners are very nice. Savannah is a beautiful historical city with so much to offer, enjoy every time we visit. The Ghost City tours was fun for a different look at the history of Savannah. Visited Tybee Island for a day trip was fun, beautiful beach.
We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. Our favorite thing about it was how close you are to everything but far enough away from the bustling businesses and riverfront. Janet was easy to reach and was willing to help when needed. Would recommend to others who want a quiet retreat.
This private carriage house was in a great location to tour the city of Savannah. We were within walking distance of all of historic district. The carriage house was clean and kept up well. It is a bit small if more than 2 people are staying here but it was perfect for my husband and me. The owner was very helpful when I lost the email I needed to access the carriage house. She called me back promptly and stayed on the phone with me until we found the place and got in. We enjoyed touring some of the old homes of Savannah and also took a bike tour that was a lot of fun and informative. Will come back to visit this beautiful city.
This place was very nice, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay in Savannah. It's in a great location - we were able to walk all over Historic Savannah from there. Janet was very helpful. Coffee maker wasn't working and she immediately got it replaced. Her restaurant suggestions were excellent! Thanks so much for your hospitality, Janet!
Savannah, GA is beautiful, historic and artistic.
Founded in 1733, Savannah was the new world's first planned community. Wander through twenty-two squares landscaped in azaleas and live oaks dripping in Spanish moss.
Every major event in US history touched the city. Visit a Revolutionary War Battlefield and the house Gen. Sherman occupied during the Civil War.
Used as the location of many major motion pictures (Forrest Gump, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Something to Talk About, etc.), it is now the location of the Savannah Film Festival every fall. And in the spring is the Savannah Music Festival.
Fifteen miles from the Atlantic Ocean at Tybee Island, GA, and two and a half hours from Charleston, SC, Savannah is perfectly located to enjoy all manner of recreation. Savannah is a perfect vacation spot for every interest in your family.
