Harry and his son Scott are co-owners of their family vacation home. The home has been in the family since 1950 and has been lovingly maintained and updated. This is a family effort and Harry or Scott personally 'check-in' all guests.
Scott Sanders purchased this house in 2005
We chose to keep the home in our family because of the beautiful setting and convenient location.
I can only agree with all the other reviews....The Sanders family are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Harry met us at the house and showed us around the property, complete with a wonderful welcome basket. A home away from home and plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Great place to get away and relax - even the teenagers agreed! Exquisite sunsets. Soooo peaceful. We spent an afternoon on the beach at Terrapin Park (shame about the jelly fish), and visited St. Michaels (well worth the visit). We all wished we could have stayed longer than our 4 days and would definitely consider returning here.
Well, we had the best (but too short) getaway at this spectacular vacation home. I can't say enough. The house is well equipped and easily large enough for our four adults and one child. Beautiful sunsets. Beautiful walks. Property was clean and very well maintained. The Sanders are great hosts and met us on site to explain things to us. Pretty sure we will return again in the future.
The home is ideal for a family. It brings out the best in us, well provided for activities on water (canoeing/kayaking) and games indoors. We want to spend time together, cooking great meals in best equipped kitchen I've seen and talking and laughing and admiring the spectacular view . Most comfortably furnished and clean. We have stayed twice and keep talking about returning. Harry and Scott are very agreeable and accommodating. We highly recommend. Genie Henson
The view is even better than the pictures and the home is indeed comfortable, quiet, spotless and lovingly decorated. The notebook with local information was packed with ideas for things to do when we weren't relaxing and enjoying the view. We have rented from other people in the past and NONE of them were as friendly, gracious and helpful as the Sanders family. They even arranged for us to have nice weather. Probably the best thing to say is that as we were driving home, we started talking about coming back next year.
"We were very pleased with our entire stay. The owner met us when we arrived and showed us where things were and told us a little about the area. The house was absolutely and most definitely exceeded our expectations. My son-in-law and grandson spent a great deal of time fishing and crabbing right off the pier that was on the property. We took a trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore and to Pirate Adventures in Anapolis. I would highly recommend this home to others. We certainly hope to stay here again. The owners are amazing to work with!!"
Wonderful cottage on waterfront- west side of Cox Landing Road in lovely Kent Narrows...plenty of space...good kitchen....modern baths...views from everywhere...great sitting areas....delightful breezes....couldn't ask for anymore....
Peaceful, waterfront setting. Convenient location between Annapolis and St. Michaels on Maryland's Eastern Shore. About a 1 hour drive to downtown Washington, DC or Baltimore.
Other Activities: Matapeake Beach & Kentmorr Restaurant/Beach (10 minute drive), not a lifeguarded beach
