We are pleased that you are interested in our home away from home. We have lived on the island for years and live close to town so we would be able to avail ourselves if you need to make your stay more comfortable. I have worked in the hotel industry for years in different capacities. I was an executive housekeeper so I understand the standard of cleanliness. I am an artist. I have been a handyman and renovation contractor for the hotels for years. We did a few years of research searching out a condominium that had an above average reputation, was built well, and had a great location close to the beach. We picked the right place! The building management company is excellent, the security guards are friendly and helpful, and they do a great job. The condo is a secured building, has a great swimming pool, laundry facility, parking, and is 2 blocks from the beach. We have received above average compliments from our guests about our quality condos, great location staff, cleanliness, and service Please read our great reviews and we hope you choose us for your vacation travels. You will enjoy the benefits of being at home away from home. You have all the conveniences of being at home, however you are centrally located to many major attractions in Waikiki as well as shopping and restaurants. We have a total of 6 vacation condos, each with a little different charm, two 3 bedroom units, three 1 bedroom units, and one studio. The first 3 top reasons I'm buying property here are Location, Location Location. Next most important thing was Central Air - rare in Waikiki. The other factors in choosing a property that I must have was property location must be quite. No all night party bars next to or near by. No early morning garbage truck noise, or too much street noise. building keyed security elevator and late night key access for entrance lobby. This property is the only one of hundreds to meet even my minimum requirements. The property has many of things from my wish list as well. Things like assigned parking spaces Salt water pool rather then chlorinated pool. Entrance phone outside for visitors to call residents security or building mangers. A Japanese style bath room. A Furo tub/shower,sink is separate. The toilet outside is a separate room

Where you want to be
If you want to stay in the midst of all that is Waikiki, this is a great place to stay. A short walk to the beach and all it has to offer. Also at the far end if Waikiki so easy to drive and get to other places on the Island. The apartment was comfortable and it was great to sit on the balcony to watch the surf in the morning.
Great location and well-appointed
This is a great family vacation condominium/apartment, located in the heart of Waikiki near shops and restaurants and of course, the beach. Place was clean and has everything needed to self-accommodate with a full kitchen.
The only thing I would highlight is that it is not clear in the write-up that this place has one bathroom and one toilet, our interpretation of the write-up was that the place had an ensuite for the main bedroom, and a separate toilet and Bathroom for the other rooms to share.
This place would accommodate six people OK, but I think eight people sharing one toilet and bathroom, and two people sleeping on the sleeper couch in the main living area, might be a push.

Great place and location!
This was a perfect condo for my family. Traveled with my 3 kids, husband and parents. Enough room for everyone, great location and owner was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place to rent!
This place was wonderful for my family. We had 8 people total, 8 adults and 2 kids. It was a bit crowded for that many people but it definitely was manageable. The location was perfect, so close to beach and the shopping area. This place had everything we needed. The only thing that drew us back was that I couldn’t get ahold of the owner of the place after we arrived at the place. Gary and his wife were pretty good about replying back to my questions and wonderments we had about the place before when we were arranging the trip, but once I arrived at the place the communication just stopped. 😮 Other than that, I recommend renting this place.
Outstanding property, location, however..
1. The dryer exhaust (at least partially) exhausts INTO THE CONDO. In the least, wastes energy (heat indoors, while AC indoors), and potential health, air quality problem.
2. Bedroom blinds need to be DARKER -- copious amounts of light comes thru into the two bedrooms from the outside hallway security lighting.
3. The kitchen sink faucet water requires extraordinary time to "warm," wasting lots precious H2O when washing dishes.
Otherwise, appears all else was OUTSTANDING and well-met our expectations.

The condo is located at 2440 Kuhio Avenue in the heart of Waikiki. It is only 1.5 block (2 minutes) to the Waikiki beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops including Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the Duty-Free shopping center (DFS), New shopping center "Saks Fifth Avenue" is 5 minutes and the grocery store " Food Pantry" is only one 4 minutes walk away. A Bus stops is in front of the building that can take you to any destination, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, Snorkel at Hanauma Bay, explore North Shore, visit the historic Pearl Harbor or go clubbing on Hotel Street in Chinatown or do more shopping at Waikele Outlets or Beautiful Ala Moana Mall.
