Aloha and welcome to our piece of Paradise in Kihei Garden Estates (KGE). Come and enjoy our beautifully upgraded, two-bedroom, two bath, first floor, garden view condominium. We are perfectly located in the heart of Kihei – just a few minute walk from the best restaurants, shopping, golf, and every amenity you need and desire. The best feature is the private beach just steps away from the lanai, where you can relax, splash in the inviting surf, uncover exquisite sea shells, and take in some of the most breathtaking sunsets each night. You don’t even need to take a trip to see nature’s gift of sea animals including whales, dolphins, and sea turtles – they are all right there on this private little expanse of beach.
KGE is a quiet and peaceful complex, well maintained and full of Aloha Spirit. The property has lush grounds with plumerias, mango and banana trees, hibiscus and palms. Steps off of our lanai is one of the best pools in south Maui, a Jacuzzi/whirlpool spa and full outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ. A short drive from our paradise, you can discover the excitement and beauty that Maui has to offer including diving, snorkeling, hiking, surfing, sightseeing, experiencing the sunrise at the crater of Haleakala volcano.
Our condo comes equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay on Maui. There are boogie boards, beach mats, and a cooler for your excursions to the pool or beach. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, dishes, silverware, glassware, and more. Even the bath towels and bed linens are new for your use. New carpet and fresh paint round out the experience of the newness of our home away from home. Just bring your suntan lotion and get ready to relax.

We had been to Maui several times and stayed in various condos in Kihei Garden Estates. Each time we returned, we fell more and more in love with the place. We finally took the plunge and purchased our own little piece of paradise. We look forward to retiring here some day but in the meantime, we want to share with everyone the serenity and beauty of Maui and Kihei Garden Estates.
We have been coming to Hawaii for 30 years and when staying in Maui we always like to stay in the Kihei area. We have stayed in Kihei Garden Estates in various units many times, but this was our first time for this wonderful unit on the ground level. We loved that we could park our car not 20 feet from the front door and NO STAIRS! The unit is roomy compared to others we have stayed in, and we enjoyed the open floor plan and space to put our things.
The unit has been updated and has a nice kitchen, great bathrooms and bedrooms. Two TVs, good internet, air conditioning (which is a must for us) and ceiling fans. We like to BBQ and the swimming Pool area has a spacious covered Pavilion with two gas fired BBQ which we used frequently. We love the location which is near shopping areas and is well located to go to the various beaches and sights on the island. We like to snorkel most every day and the location of this unit is great for some of the best places to snorkel on the island like Ulua, Wailea, Makena, Maluaka and Ahihi, or 45 minutes to the north for Blackrock, Kapalua or Honolua (when surf is not up.)
Best of all the owners and on site manager were ever so helpful and great to work with. We would highly recommend this unit. You can count on this as a great place to stay so you can enjoy all that Maui has to offer.
Stayed here for eight nights. We found the instructions from the owners clear, and access simple. Condo was clean and is well stocked- both for the beach as well as in the kitchen. We found the king bed a little soft and the queen bed a little too firm; only mentioning this if this is important to you- we slept just fine. The condo is otherwise well appointed and maintained- great kitchen and well finished bathrooms; both bathrooms have hand-held shower options. Kihei Garden Estates is a great complex; the pool and BBQs are in the middle (with a big covered seating area and outdoor kitchen), and there's plenty of grassy space besides. People really do congregate here in the evenings. Two outstanding things about this condo: the grocery store and strip-mall next door are REALLY next door- they are very convenient for last minute takeout or beer re-supplies; and it's accross a very quiet street from the beach. The beach itself, while not as great for a more active crowd as one of the Kameole beaches just down the road, is sheltered by a reef and is very shallow for a long way out. This is great for kids, and those trying out SUP or canoeing for the first time as the wave action is very low. The only downside is that because there's no A/C in the bedrooms (not really needed anyway), you will need to have the windows open at night. This can be a bit loud at times (the grocery store loading bay for example) and there's also the faint smell of deep fryer from a restaurant somewhere nearby. But really, unless someone starts up a leaf blower nearby at 05:30 (yes this actually did happen to us!), it's unlikely to affect your sleep in any way. Oh, and I found the wi-fi a bit flaky (old router?).
In summary, I'd highly recommend this well maintained condo in a friendly complex. It's so convenient that if all you want is the beach and the pool, you won't need a car. I'd stay here again!
We stayed at Kihei Garden Estates in unit G-108 for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic. The condo is small but very clean, and well stocked with towels, games, and even DVDs. The furnishings are older and the towels don't exactly match, but for the price it is a very good deal. The neighborhood is very quiet, no street noise, and the residents (seemed liked mostly retirees but there was also a police officer) were all very nice and welcoming. Times grocery store is less than a one minute walk from the condo. Also within walking distance is a gelato shop, craft fair, shopping and many nice restaurants. The grounds are nicely kept, and there are tons of geckos and lizards around. The pool and BBQ area are right next to each other so the kids and I could swim while dad grilled. The condo is also less than a minute walk away from a nice little beach, there is seaweed, but being from Alaska that didn't bother us. We'd walk down at night with the kids and look at crabs with a flashlight. Very quick drive to several nice kids parks, including Kalama park and south Maui community park. We would definitely stay here again.
This was our first trip to Maui, what an amazing fun place to visit. There was lots of space for all four of us. This condo was all that it was advertised as. It is a very convenient unit to some fun shopping and a good grocery store. We felt very comfortable and at home in this clean homey place. My husband and I recently stayed at G108 in May and wow! We were pleasantly surprised and delighted with the accommodations. We had stayed in various condos in KGE, always second floor units. I wasn’t sure at first about a first floor unit as I enjoyed the privacy of a second floor lanai in the mornings for coffee and at night for dinner. Well, staying on the first floor is definitely for us going forward! We realized how expansive the lanai could become, especially when neighbors stopped by to chat. Some nights, we would be out on the lanai and the lawn enjoying the community spirit of those visiting Hawaii or the permanent residents of the complex. Plenty of room – no confinement. At other times, we enjoyed the privacy of this unit as it is at the end. I did not realize the convenience of going back and forth to the pool or the grills until we stayed in this first floor unit. Out of the way of some of the busier travel paths to and from the pool but still close enough to get that refreshing drink in a flash! No climbing stairs or having to go around to the street / parking side of the unit to get to the amenities of the fridge, bathroom, etc. We always do laundry before we leave and not having to carry the clothes, detergent, and everything else up and down stairs was so easy! Parking was within steps of our door. Best of all, the unit had been recently refurbished by the owners and was simply decorated and uncluttered. It was fresh and spacious feeling, extremely clean.
