Reviewer Comments:

This is the 5th year we have stayed in the Northwestern condo in Ballard. The location is great - very walkable, the unit is spacious and well equipped and the management is excellent. The unit is always very clean and well maintained. Any small maintenance issues - ex. an overhead lightbulb that is out are addressed promptly. It has a great kitchen and is a wonderful place for our family and friends. We would plan to stay there again.

My family had a great time staying here. There were tons of restaurants and a grocery store within a few blocks. It helped us save money by stocking groceries in the house for the week. The home is very close to a few major bus routes so we were able to go downtown and to the zoo very easily. The house was described accurately and clean when we arrived. I would recommend staying here!

Reviewer Comments:

This townhouse has pros and cons. It has a well appointed, roomy kitchen, dining area with 1/2 bath. The 3 levels worked well for us since there were 5 adults here for a wedding. Ballard was a great location for us. The house was clean, great beds, sheets and towels. Roomy bathrooms. On the negative side, the rugs need to be replaced. They were clean but very stained. There needs to be more light in the upstairs larger bedroom, the 3-way lights only go to the lowest level. The upstairs bedroom would do better with a Queen bed instead of a King since there is little room between the end of the bed and the dresser and no side table on the right side. Also parking in the garage is a challenge but manageable but very difficult on the street. We parked one car on the street and never moved it. We were there for 6 days. All in all the townhouse was a good fit for us and we did enjoy staying there.

Reviewer Comments:

This was a nice house to stay in for our girls trip. It was true to the pictures, good location and quiet. But I do agree with some of the other comments that it is in need of some deep cleaning (ie: carpets, showers, oven). And the upstairs bathroom could use some new sinks or repair the chips plus the shower needs a good cleaning. That being said, I know it is hard to do some of these items when people are coming and going through the busy travel season, but the carpets should at least be spot cleaned. They look really bad. I would still recommend this place to stay at.

Reviewer Comments:

I stayed at the Ballard Northwesterner townhome while I was in Seattle for my wedding (which was held at the Hotel Ballard). The location was awesome for getting to the venue and enjoying downtown Ballard and the townhome was spacious, especially the kitchen area. However, we were disappointed to find that the property was not as clean as we would have liked - my mom had to clean the downstairs bathroom shower after our arrival, the kitchen was less than pristine, and I found bits of garbage on the floor near furniture that had been missed by the vacuuming. As others have noted, the townhome could also use some updating, particularly the carpets which looked quite worn and not very clean.

Reviewer Comments:

We stayed here with 7 people total for 4 nights. It was a little tight with someone sleeping on the pull out couch, but worked fine as we didn't spend much time in the house. The place was VERY clean! The furniture was updated and the kitchen well stocked. We had a car the first night and parking it in the garage was a little is a VERY small garage, you had to do it perfectly or one of the mirrors would hit the side! We did notice the neighbors car was parked in the driveway pretty much the whole time, it was never an issue for us but I could see it being a problem for someone with a car for their whole trip! The location is perfect, a lot of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance! About 20 minutes by car to the downtown area. UBERs were available at all times and places, we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride! The carpet in the first floor bedroom could use replacing...there were several noticeable stains and at the entrance to the bathroom there is no finished edge! I kept stepping on it and pricking my feet on the under carpet staples! Not great at 2am! Also, the hair dryer in the first floor bathroom is terrible...I think it might be older than I am and took 25 minutes to get my hair semi-dry. Overall though this was a fantastic find and we would definitely stay here again!
