Owner's Response: Dear Mary and Ed, It was a great delight to have you visit with us and also very much enjoyed our evening over tea , blueberry pie and the spirited conversation, solving all of the worlds problems in the process! With best wishes, Joe

Excellent location, delightful host, comfortable and spacious room.

  • 5 of 5

The house is at the end of Willow Place, an easy and attractive walk from wherever you want to go. The whole area feels safe and family friendly with a variety of cafes and restaurants and a five minute walk from the spectacular views of Manhattan. The room is on the first floor and has a pleasant bathroom and small kitchen space for coffee and toast. We had a lovely stay here and hope very much to return.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My second visit after five years and all was as I had remembered. Joe provides a warm welcome and a generous spirit that complements the quiet, reflective tone of his beautiful home. Planning my return trip for May, 2017. My first and only choice is Willow Place.

Wonderful place to stay in Brooklyn

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed 5 nights. The room is very comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect nice neighborhood. Close to restaurants not far from subway which you can catch to go into the city. Staying here gives you a completely different feel from the hustle and busy NYC. Would definitely recommend this property to friends. Joe provided several books, magazines and other info to help you know what is nearby and how to get around the city. The next time we come to New York we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay in Brooklyn

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed two weeks at this lovely house in Brooklyn Heights. The charming neighborhood and Joe's hospitality contributed to our great time in NYC. The house is located 10-15 minutes walk to the subway. It's the first stop after Manhattan. Even when we returned home late in the night we felt very safe walking in the quiet streets.

The room is spacious with several wardrobes and nicely decorated, with a big and confortable bed. Every morning when we woke up we spent some minutes enjoying the squirrels playing in the backyard.

The access to the flat gives privacy to the guests.

The next time we visit New York we will certainly stay with Joe again!
