A lovely spot for enjoying peace and tranquility among the pines! Tammy was extremely helpful on all counts!
If all guests were like Anne renting would be a lot easier---thanks for renting my place.
Amazing getaway spot
We had an amazing family getaway and we were so pleasantly surprised at how cute the A-frame was and how great the town was. We drove the Peak to Peak highway and also stopped at Brainard Lake. It snowed on us so much the second day. It was awesome. We are from Texas and we needed to cool off. Thank you Tammy and family!
These are the kind of renters that make the fees at HomeAway worth it. Thanks for renting!
Quaint homey Colorado cabin
Really enjoyed our stay for our honeymoon exploring Colorado. Great location to venture off in every direction to explore the many sights and wonders. The home had many lovely spots to enjoy nature, beautiful views, then maybe a movie on Netflix in the evening. Nederland is a great spot too! Didn't feel too touristy yet much to enjoy. Loved the birds, squirrels, Chipmunks...also saw a fox and a deer! Tammy great to work with too.
Our stay was really enjoyable. The house was located in a quiet area. There were great views and a short drive to town. It's perfect for a mountain getaway
Comfort above Nederland
From day 1 when I was inquiring about this property Tammy was amazing! She answered all questions that I had and aptly described this property as being comfortable and nestled in trees on the side of Doe Trail road. We've been to Nederland before driving thru it so we were excited about staying near this "full of personality" town. The A-frame is nestled in the hills above Nederland so you do feel like you are tucked away in the trees. The house had everything we could have possibly needed and we were able to enjoy watching the Olympics and get some work done as reception for TV and internet was pretty stable (we worked and watched tv just a bit of the time, after all we were in Colorado and you are sinning if you are not out under a tree or on a trail somewhere). The beds were comfortable and my girls loved the loft bedroom where the bed is so nicely placed under a large skylight where you can lay and watch the sky. The one thing my girls complained about was the sun rising and waking them up. I just reminded them that they should take the time and appreciate the fact that by waking up early we had that much more time to get out and explore the area. This property was also ideal for walking down to Barker reservoir (pretty easy) and for walking down to Nederland (a bit more of a walk) halfway down the road and then hiking down a trail to the reservoir so that you approach town thru the trail leading up from the reservoir. We passed a playground on this trail and how I wished that my 21 and 20 year old daughters were still 5 and 4 years old when all they needed was a pair of swings. Really an awesome place to spend time with younger kids playing in the park and along the stream that heads down to the reservoir. There is so much to do and that's without even getting into your car!
Thanks for renting! I hope that you will come back again soon.
