Only 5 houses separate our condo from the beach (600 ft) making this the perfect spot for families, especially those with small children. This quaint family oriented complex consists of only 6 units. You can see Nantucket Sound from the front of the complex. Our condo features all knotty pine, classic Cape Cod charm. The unit consists of a living/dining/kitchen combination and two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from a crock pot to a lobster pot. One bedroom features a double (full-sized) bed and the other bedroom has twins. Sliders from full-size bedroom lead to a deck and an over-sized private fenced-in patio with gas grill and outdoor shower. A beautiful new park with walking trails, gardens, and playground is a minute's walk away. Several restaurants are walkable..It's all about location.
There are several restaurants you can walk to from the condo, with shops, mini golf, golf courses, and ferry service to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard just minutes away by car. Book early for prime summer weeks. This is an end unit for added privacy.
Amenities: Water view from front of complex. Walk to beach, trails, playground, restaurants. VCR, DVD and CD player, coffee maker, microwave, deck, gas grill, window fans, outdoor shower, private patio.
Activities: You are seconds from Route 28 where restaurant, shops, activities for children (for example, mini golf, water bumper boats, electric paddle boat rentals) are endless. Ferry service to the islands is just minutes away by car. For those who love antique shopping, the Route 6A area in Dennis is well worth checking out!
This location makes it ideal for day trips to both Provincetown (approx 1 hour) or Falmouth/Buzzards Bay area (approx 1 hour).
Area: Dennisport, Cape Cod is located right in the middle of Cape Cod, approximately one and one-half hours from Boston.
I am a retired teacher, having taught in private and public schools. I also write leveled readers, books for children beginning to read. Currently I tutor students in reading and writing. My home town is Philadelphia, but my husband and I currently live in Western Massachusetts.
Ann Hollingworth purchased this condo in 2009
Since I went to the Jersey shore as a child, I have always loved the beach. Fell in love with the Cape and always dreamed of having a place there. My husband joke about how I never could enjoy vacations when we were camping or staying at hotels, because I wanted to look at real estate. We looked for years, and finally found the right place.
Location, location, and location. I fell in love with the neighborhood. You can see the water from the parking lot and walk to the beach. There are only 3 units in each building, with 2 buildings. There are 2 bedrooms, so we can have visitors when we stay there. The patio area is private, but big enough to have flower gardens.
-A lot of biking (the area of Provincetown is beautiful, the trails and views are amazing!!). Bike trails on Cape Cod are great.
-A little bit of driving to see places on Cape Cod.
-And beaching for sure!!
Thank you for everything, the condo was perfect!! The temperature was with us. We are very happy about our vacation!! Thanks again.
This condo on Inman Road is a very well kept rental with just enough of everything you would need. Sleeps four comfortably and is so close to the ocean, a few minute walk down the road. In addition, the landlord is very personalable and great at keeping in touch/responding to inquiries. Highly recommended for a small family!
Our family of four stayed here in early August. It was a PERFECT place for us to stay - the description is very accurate. The rental was equipped with everything we could possibly need for the week's stay ranging from kitchen supplies to recommendations on places to visit. The close proximity to beach was fabulous - a short distance to the ocean which saved some extra fees having to drive to the beach. Upon arrival, the place was very neat and clean, and all the information one would need was all present in a neat binder. The outdoor shower is an added bonus to get the day's worth of sand washed off. The rental is also a close walk to some nice restaurants. Being mid-cape was also a nice benefit! A very nice rental with owners who take great pride in their rental and are quick to respond
I booked my vacation to the Cape in April. Since then, I have been in contact with the owner frequently. My instant impression of the owner was a positive one as she responded promptly to my emails and seemed very genuine. She knew it was our first time at the Cape so she made sure everything in the condo was well-maintained prior to our arrival (there was an issue with the outdoor shower that she made sure was fixed before we arrived). We instantly fell in love with the quaint condo. It had a true Cape "beachy" vibe. We literally were 1/10th of a mile from the beach. I woke up every morning to the sunrise with a coffee in hand and sunset with wine in hand:) I've traveled to many places and stayed in many fancy resorts but I can honestly say that staying in this condo at the Cape felt the most comfortable and relaxing. It was great doing business with owner, she is not only courteous and personable but she is professional and trustworthy. While spending time at the Cape and traveling throughout, I realized that where we were located was the best central location. I loved how close we were to all the best things that the Cape has to offer. I will be having dreams of Mayflower Beach and lobster rolls from the Lighthouse until next year. Thanks again for everything Ann!
We stayed at this cottage on the last week of August 2013. Most of the other cottages were empty and so it was very quiet. This unit is on the back of the complex, so it is the most private one, you will not have people walking in front of your windows all the time (only when they go use the outdoor shower or put the garbage on the outside bin). It a very short walk to the beach and the unit has everything you need, like beach chairs, umbrella, even some beach toys for little kids. The small private patio is great for BBQ and I've brought a clothes line to drip dry towels, bathing suits, etc. Kitchen is well equipped and the house is clean and a good size for a family of four. It is nicely decorated and due to bad weather, I appreciated the books and board games available. It's right in the middle of the Cape, so it's convenient to drive to places. We've got to do a lot of sightseeing. I would stay again!
We adored this condo. It is perfect for a couple or a small family of 3 or 4. The best part was the backyard. It's safe, aesthetically pleasing, and fenced in, perfect for young children. My son spent hours back there, organizing seashells he found at the beach, collecting rocks, etc, while my husband and I relaxed on the Adironack chairs and enjoyed the weather. There's an outdoor shower shared with the other condo units which was a huge plus and made the whole week less sandy and more comfortable :-)
The location can't be beat - a block from the beach, a block from a playground, and a short walk to the fabulous Sundae School Ice Cream Parlor.
The condo was comfy, neat, and the binder full of information and things to do was a really nice touch. The only downside (thus the 4 stars vs. 5) was the kitchen. There was no oven, which wasn't a huge deal. But the kitchen wasn't super well equipped, so if you like to cook I recommend bringing useful items like cheese graters, dry measuring cups, etc. Also, the fridge was a little sticky. But everything was perfectly functional and there's a barbecue in the backyard, which we made good use of throughout the week!
We would definitely rent this condo again. I highly recommend it.
I had the pleasure of staying here in 2008. It was so relaxing and calming that i was very sad to have to head home.
The property was well taken care of. I enjoyed the stay and am looking forward to returning this year.
Dennisport is a phenomenal location for a vacation. You are Mid Cape making an easy drive to the tip of Provincetown (1 hour) or drive south to the Falmouth area (1 hour). Families especially find Dennisport has everything they need all within minutes of the condo. We are also close to charming Harwichport.
Golf: There are numerous golf courses within minutes from the condo. Options are endless. For the kids, several mini golf courses are also within minutes from the condo.
