Heron Now is a comfortable bayfront home located on beautiful Apalachicola Bay, St. George Island, Florida.
The large deck offers sea breezes and a private, panoramic overlook of the bay and estuarine reserve. You have the same view from inside the house and even from the kitchen.
Heron Now has the best of both vacation worlds: the gulf coast beaches and the beautiful bayside marsh. The spacious gulf coast beach is only 1.5 blocks away via easy public access. There you can swim in the waves, fish the surf, or lounge among the sand castles. Heron Now adjoins the bayside world of the Apalachicola National Estuarine Reserve which provides one mile of undeveloped bayshore waterfront to explore by foot or boat. Bring your canoes and kayaks (or rent locally) because there is bay access. Bring your fishing gear because the bay is full of sea trout, redfish, and mullet . Bring your camera and binoculars because every hike or paddle will bring a new discovery.

Heron One did not disappoint! Just as described beautiful views, close to the bay and and the gulf. The back deck is very private which was made it quite and peaceful.
A beautiful spot
We enjoyed our stay on St. George Island in general and at Heron Now in particular. Tucked away in the trees with nature. We would go back!
We had an amazing stay at Heron Now! The location was ideal, a stunning view of the bay and a short walk to the gulf! The house was super clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace, with the weather being a bit chilly. The information that Edward provided was super helpful to us as we enjoyed so many places on the island. We loved the laid back lifestyle of the area! We will definitely return!
Very clean and cozy
Very nice well kept property. No issues at all. Comfortable with lots of things to do. Loved it.
Good location for vacation
Good location, home was comfortable and clean. Liked the decks, views of the bay. Beds were comfortable, except twin beds a little short and hard for grandson. Everything good, except the kitchen utensils- skillets in bad shape, only one was usable. not a lot of cooking utensils to choose from. Otherwise, no complaints. We enjoyed our week at Heron Now. Thank You!
We are heading up to Heron Now for Thanksgiving week and will make sure we replace the skillets and restock the kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils. Thanks for the feedback .
The property was great! Beautiful view of the bay, pretty secluded off of Gulf Shore Drive.
The owner had lots of info about things to do, favorite places, birds of the region, etc. And the quiet & beauty is just what we needed.
